When going to form an ecclesia one has to select people to be in charge of it or taking care of the working and good order of the ecclesial work. It’s important that a church leader will be working as a good house-steward, responsible for the affairs in God’s house, be looked up to — not pushy or arrogant, not short-tempered, not given to a lot of wine, not a bully or violent, not money-hungry or fond of dishonest gain, but rather, hospitable, a lover of goodness, sound of mind, just, holy, self-controlled, holding to that teaching in harmony with the faithful Word, also that he may be strong enough and have enough knowledge (and perhaps also experience) to exhort by that healthy teaching and reprove those who are opposing.
