Today’s thought

“Be aware of what went on” (August 15)

Pro 18:13  He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.

When certain things happen in daily life we should be aware how and why it happened and why certain people do find it necessary to react.

Normally when there is something wrong one tries to solve it under four eyes. But when one of the parties in stubborn and refuses to alter, one can get an other person to intermediate or to help to solve the problems. When that does not help one can bring in other members of the faith community into to and ask them to help to solve the problem.

When the agitating, bullying, and spreader of false accusations keep continuing to spread bad language about the community one is not at fault to warn other members of the community. As a matter of fact when somebody calls him a member of a faith group but try to damage other members of that group, the whole community has to look at that matter and check if it would not better to exclude that person from that community or society (resulting sometimes even in a disfellowship, of one of the parties, when necessary).

Certainly when a person resists coming together and to discuss the matter in private, but keeps continuing spreading lies along the internet, one must be very careful of such person but also should warn others of what is really going on.

Those hearing what is going on should, before they react, listen to all the parties involved and sincerely unbiased, should examine the matter before speaking or before accusing and turning against the one who defends himself and his community.

Deuteronomy 13:14 The Scriptures 1998+ (14) then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And see if the matter is true and established that this abomination was done in your midst,

Deuteronomy 17:4 The Scriptures 1998+ (4) and it has been made known to you and you have heard, and has searched diligently. Then see, if true: the matter is confirmed that such an abomination has been done in Yisra’el,

Deuteronomy 19:18 The Scriptures 1998+ (18) “And the judges shall diligently search and see if the witness is a false witness, who has falsely accused his brother,

2 Chronicles 19:6 The Scriptures 1998+ (6) and said to the judges, “Watch what you are doing, for you do not judge for man, but for יהוה {Jehovah} who is with you in the matter of right-ruling.

Psalms 82:1-6 The Scriptures 1998+ (1) Elohim stands in the congregation of El; He judges in the midst of the elohim. (2) How long would you judge perversely, And show partiality to the wrong? Selah. (3) Give right-ruling to the poor and fatherless, Do right to the afflicted and needy. (4) Rescue the poor and needy; Deliver them from the hand of the wrong. (5) They do not know, nor do they understand, They walk about in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken. (6) I, I said, “You are elohim, And all of you are sons of the Most High.

Jeremiah 22:3 The Scriptures 1998+ (3) ‘Thus said יהוה {Jehovah}, “Do right-ruling and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor. Do not maltreat nor do violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.

Let us not be prejudiced and really look in the matter, examining what really happened in the past and more recently, before considering to condemn the person or oppressed, who was or is defending himself and his community. Let us always remember:

Proverbs 18:13 The Scriptures 1998+ (13)
He who answers a matter before he hears it, It is folly and shame to him.

In response of reactions made on a defender on the slander made against the Christadelphian community and on the accusation of certain things concerning him personally and his ecclesia, and something which seems to be going on, on the internet and on our Facebook page.

++

Here we could place enough links to many articles on the internet showing what really happened and who could be mostly blamed for what went wrong at that first (or first) time(s) and for what reason this ecclesia and the defender took again action to react on our Facebook page, which may be considered an extension of the ecclesia board. That board or the Facebook page naturally could be closed and only be accessible for our members only, but we want to be an open church community where any body, believer and non-believer or other- believer may enter the building, follow our services or follow what we say or write.

In case you would not believe us our the defender we kindly request to look for yourself at the different websites, ours but also from the other denominations who encountered the same problems with the same person.

With this article we also consider this older and recent case closed.
