What we as ecclesia believe

As Christadelphians we are Brothers in Christ. As brothers and sisters in Christ we love our lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful that he wanted to suffer for us and die. We believe that God had given him strength to conjure and has raised him from the death. Such as Jesus believed in his Father and praised Him, we also believe in the One True Creator of heaven and earth, who wished to lead His people and gave the promise to Abraham for a large offspring, a large community of believers who have got the possibility by the ransom sacrifice or redeeming by the promised Messiah, Jesus, Yeshua, Yashua, Yahshua Christ. This Redeemer, our Saviour, has prepared us the way and is the mediator between God and men. He has arisen, the third day after his death, and has gone in to the sky, but shortly will come the judge the living and the dead. He has been sitting at the right hand of his Father the ‘ I that is’, the Elohim Hashem, God, YHWH, Yahweh, Jehovah, who has appointed him as a pontiff, our High Priest and as King of the Kings.

It is to Jesus his and our Father of all, that we must pray, give praise and honour. He has given us His Word which is there for everybody to their support and to instruction inabeling us to make the right choices and to change. We believe that the 66 books which are joined together in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible, written down in the name of God, we can find what God wants but also His promises and the announcements of beautiful things still to come, but which shall become achieved. God has not only transmitted his Word to men but had also foreseen that His strength, the Holy Spirit, can be with us and can accompany us in this life.

We believe that by making the wrong choice the first man and woman found oneself penalized and all their ancestors had to carry the impact of this wrong choice, and be born in imperfection, having to face death. We must arm our self against this wrong doing and carry ourselves the responsibility for the actions which we put forward. By the first sin the death has come to us all. The dead shall return to substance, dust and ash. In the future however we can have a beautiful expectancy. They that believe in Jesus Christ and his Father, show regret concerning their errors and for this have asked pardon, will be aroused from death and as children of God can be incorporated in the Kingdom of God.

It is this hope to eternal life in a peaceful paradise to which we look out hopefully and wishing to succeed the Jesus’ task to preach or to proclaim the Good News. In the ecclesia we bring, in the service, honour to Jesus and to God our father and remember the Last Supper with the Breaking of the Bread and drinking of the Wine as symbols of the New Covenant which is established by Jesus, who commissioned us this to do for his memory. In Jesus name thus we pray to God our Father that His kingdom should come rapidly and that we shall be able to enjoy His promisses and receive His reward.

    One thing I’ve become convinced of, something you might consider, is the point Paul makes in Romans 5, that even as death now passes through into all humans through the disobedience of one human, thus also, through the obedience of Jesus Christ, justification of life is also now passing through into all humans. In Romans and Ephesians, we can see that a few of us were chosen to receive this justification of life now, even during this wicked age. However in 1 Corinthians 15:22,23 we read that “even as in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, all shall be made alive, yet each in his own set (or class).” It then goes on to tell us of three different sets of making alive. The final set is when death is put under Christ’s feet. Death will no longer operate at that time. The second death will no longer hold its captives, and the very last dead human will be given the life of God as we now have. In Revelation Jesus Christ and his holy ones will be reigning into the ages of the ages, referring to the final two ages of God’s plan of the ages (Ephesians 3:11). But Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:25 he will be reigning UNTIL all the enemies are under his feet. Then he will give the kingdom over to his God and Father, that God may be all in all. It is toward this goal that God is “operating all according to the counsel of his will (Ephesians 1:11). He wills for all humans to be saved and coming into realization of truth (1 Timothy 2:4). It is my understanding he does whatever he pleases, in heaven and on earth, as he said in the so-called Old Testament. He is love, and he is a “Savior of all humans, especially of believers (1 Timothy 4:10).”

    These things have been a cause of great happiness and peace to me, and there is much more of the Bible that confirms these things. Perhaps God will show you also. Much love to you in Christ.

    1. We belief Jesus died for all people, for all sinners, of all races, cultures or continents and of all ages. But that doe snot mean all shall come to pass into the Kingdom of God. It can well be that a murderer gets in the Kingdom of god though one who did not do much wrong does not enter the Kingdom. Jesus has told a lot of stories, parable to explain what shall happen at the end times and how people shall be justified or be refused to enter God’s Kingdom.

      Justification of life has passed through into all humans but those human being have to live up onto that justification. They can not keep doing wrong like nothing happened. In case they do not repent and try not to do their best to keep to God’s commandments they will loose the possibility to enter the Kingdom of God.

      May we advice you to read the parables of Christ Jesus and to read our articles on the saying in the Epistle of James: “Faith without works is dead.”

          1. I was talking about the people who will be dead after they die a second death in the lake of fire. God is going to give them life some day, when he nullifies death.

            As far as us believers now, we were dead also, oblivious of God, until he gave us his life in Christ (Ephesians 2). God now gives us repentance, faith, and whatever else we need to please him. He also fulfills the law in us who walk according to spirit. (Romans 8) The spirit is the living water springing up within us. Our God is a fountain of living water as he said in Jeremiah. Now he dwells in us. God’s kingdom now is righteousness, peace, and joy in holy spirit. In the next age, we, the body of Christ will be reigning in the heavens while Israel reigns on earth. If we suffer with Christ now, we will rule with him. If we deny him now, he will deny us then.

            Through law comes knowledge of sin. Righteousness and life come through grace. Christ is the consummation of law for righteousness, to every one who believes. Attempting to establish their own righteousness by the law, many in Israel stumbled over Christ, not being subject to God’s righteousness. God saves his people from their sins. The law shows people they are sinners. Paul told Timothy to shut the mouths of some who wanted to be law teachers, because they were making confident assertions of nonsense, being unaware of God’s administration which is in faith. The law is there to use if it is used lawfully, that is, if it is used according to the law of the spirit of the life in Christ Jesus which frees us from the law of sin and death. It can be used to show people that murder and adultery are wrong, stuff like that. But as far as producing righteousness in the believer, it is something God produces in us. We are his achievement, his workmanship, being created by him in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2).

            1. Those who will be dead after they die a second death in the lake of fire shall be totally gone. For them it is totally finished. For them there shall be no salvation and no hope any more.
              By the ones receiving a second death shall also be persons who have been baptised in their lifetime and have been Christians at some point, plus non-believers.

              Others shall be those who managed to keep to God’s commandments.

    1. We wonder if you shall keep our reaction to your site as well. You might find our ideas very unorthodox, but we do follow the words of Scripture. You may not believe Jesus is the son of god, but we do believe the heavenly Father of Christ Who Himself declared Jesus to be His only begotten beloved son. More than once He said so en declared Jesus also to be His sent one, His authorized one, His High priest and His mediator between Him and man, all things you may not believe, but which we accept as a truth because our Only One True God, Who Himself also declared that no man can see Him, said it Himself and wanted that all people would recognize Him as the Only One True God above all other gods and kings, and Who is One.
