Priorities for our Christadelphian community and for the spreading of Good News

In Belgium we are a very very tiny community. Our mother-church in England has many baptised members and everywhere in Great-Britain you shall be able to find Christadelphian Halls. The difference with us and other Christian denominational… Read More Priorities for our Christadelphian community and for the spreading of Good News

Video: Introducing the Christadelphian Community

The Christadelphians are a world-wide religious body that have attempted to get back to the faith and character of the early Christian church. We rely on the Bible accepting that all of the Bible is the wholly inspired Word of God and God’s only revealed message to mankind (2 Timothy 3:16). They therefore read it… Read More Video: Introducing the Christadelphian Community

Today’s Thought “Jesus Greater than Moses” (May 31)

Jesus Is Greater than Moses Today we look at three letters of the apostle Paul to the Hebrews. The man who first  prosecuted the followers of Jesus but was called by Jesus now understands that those followers of Jeshua (Jesus Christ) have to be holy brothers and sisters, who were called by God. People who… Read More Today’s Thought “Jesus Greater than Moses” (May 31)

Today’s Thought “Love that issues from a pure heart” (May 22)

“Love that issues from a pure heart” Love is a word in common use today. The utter sincerity of its use by Paul in his letters bears no relation to the way most people use it today. Paul wrote to Timothy, who is described as “my true child in the faith”, to practice “love that… Read More Today’s Thought “Love that issues from a pure heart” (May 22)

Today’s thought “Using God’s words to justify actions” (April 1-2) How often men use God’s words to justify their actions. (Numbers 16:3) in this godless world we also do find lots of people who say they are Christian, but do not follow the teachings of the Nazarene Jew Jeshua (Jesus Christ) and even have not… Read More Today’s thought “Using God’s words to justify actions” (April 1-2)

Qualifications of a Presiding Brother

When going to form an ecclesia one has to select people to be in charge of it or taking care of the working and good order of the ecclesial work. It’s important that a church leader will be working as a good house-steward, responsible for the affairs in God’s house, be looked up to — not pushy or arrogant, not short-tempered, not given to a lot of wine, not a bully or violent, not money-hungry or fond of dishonest gain, but rather, hospitable, a lover of goodness, sound of mind, just, holy, self-controlled, holding to that teaching in harmony with the faithful Word, also that he may be strong enough and have enough knowledge (and perhaps also experience) to exhort by that healthy teaching and reprove those who are opposing.
