An Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent God for us

The world should come to know that there is only One True God Who is the Almighty, Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent God, Who made His Name known, to be Jehovah. It is before that God that we should walk.

“Yea, since the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who can hinder it?” (Isa 43:13 ASV)

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” (Ge 17:1 ASV)

“And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;” (Ge 35:11 ASV)

“and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Jehovah I was not known to them.” (Ex 6:3 ASV)

“The eternal God is [thy] dwelling-place, And underneath are the everlasting arms. And he thrust out the enemy from before thee, And said, Destroy.” (De 33:27 ASV)

That Divine Creator, Who was already there when there could only be noticed “nothingness“,  has the supernatural attributes that constitute our basic definition of God: that He is an eternal spirit being, omniscient or all-knowing, omnipotent and omnipresent. It is essential for us to translate these academic descriptions
of God into personal applications.

Whatever we may do, God knows it. He even knows what we would like to stay hidden from others. God knows the heart and knows what we think and who we are in reality.

“I, Jehovah, search the mind, I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jer 17:10 ASV)

“But Jehovah said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have rejected him: for [Jehovah seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but Jehovah looketh on the heart.” (1Sa 16:7 ASV)

“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for Jehovah searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.” (1Ch 28:9 ASV)

It is impossible to pretend to God that we are not what we really are.

“and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.” (Ro 8:27 ASV)

Every path we take is known to God. He is acquainted with all our ways

“But he knoweth the way that I take; When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Job 23:10 ASV)

“Lo, he goeth by me, and I see him not: He passeth on also, but I perceive him not.” (Job 9:11 ASV)

“1  «For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.» O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me]. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways.” (Ps 139:1-3 ASV)

“But now thou numberest my steps: Dost thou not watch over my sin?” (Job 14:16 ASV)

“Doth not he see my ways, And number all my steps?” (Job 31:4 ASV)

“And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely Jehovah is in this place; and I knew it not.” (Ge 28:16 ASV)

Wherever we go, we shall be seen by God, because He is everywhere we and others are. And where we might be He can be with us. Whatever happens to us, He can interfere, because unto Him is all power. He is able to do everything for us and in us.

“He giveth power to the faint; and to him that hath no might he increaseth strength.” (Isa 40:29 ASV)

“The Lord Jehovah hath given me the tongue of them that are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as they that are taught.” (Isa 50:4 ASV)

“For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul have I replenished.” (Jer 31:25 ASV)

“and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” (Ro 4:21 ASV)

“for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.” (Php 2:13 ASV)

God does how He wants to do and according to what is in His Plan. As an all-powerful God, He is able to remove the obstacles that might block the way for us to reach the Kingdom of God. If we are willing to find the way, He shall be willing to help us to find it. There are too many obstacles for mankind to gain salvation, but Jesus assured his disciples and us when he said,

“… With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” (Mt 19:26 ASV)

Nothing is impossible for the Highest of highest. when sincerely looking for God He shall be there with that searching person.

“7 And when there had been much questioning, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. 8 And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us;” (Ac 15:7-8 ASV)

That is the hope believing people may carry with them. Wherever the path of God His providing takes us we can be sure that even there shall be His Hand and Guidance. God is willing to provide His Spirit to all who open their mind to Him.

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, [these] shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.” (Joh 16:13 ASV)

“7  Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall overwhelm me, And the light about me shall be night; 12 Even the darkness hideth not from thee, But the night shineth as the day: The darkness and the light are both alike [to thee]. 13 For thou didst form my inward parts: Thou didst cover me in my mother’s womb.” (Ps 139:7-13 ASV)

Yes, at all times That Mighty Power is willing to take our hand to lead us. (Psalm 139:10)

“2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: He guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” (Ps 23:2-3 ASV)

How desperately we need God’s omnipresence and the ways of His providing. Only in Him can

“we live, and move, and have our being.” (Acts 17:28).

That Divine Creator does not need us,

“as though he needed any thing” (v. 25)

“Can a man be profitable unto God? Surely he that is wise is profitable unto himself.” (Job 22:2 ASV)

Everything already belongs to God; He created it and allows it to exist.

“10 For every beast of the forest is mine, And the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the birds of the mountains; And the wild beasts of the field are mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.” (Ps 50:10-12 ASV)

If we or other creatures are in the forest, the hills or the planes, they are all God’s and He always knows what they do or what is going on. We may not forget that the whole world belongs to God.

Though many might think they can do without God, they are mistaken. How desperately we
need Him every day of our life!
All is His and all is at His command.

Have we translated His omniscience to

“He knows the way that I take”?

Does His omnipotence truly teach us each day

“there is nothing too hard for God”?

Does His omnipresence assure us that “You God sees us”?

God the Omnipotent Provider, is the One Who maps out the ways of providence of each day and night for His beloved is ever present with all knowledge and all power at His command. With this guarantee we can with loving resignation say,

“He knows the way that I take,”

and

“I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with God His likeness.” (Psa 17:15)

Our God alone is the God who “is,” and who can both see and hear. The Psalmist writes

“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? He that formed the eye, shall he not see?” (Ps 94:9 ASV)

And so, we share the same relief of David as he sings:

“The eyes of Jehovah are toward the righteous, And his ears are [open] unto their cry.” (Ps 34:15 ASV)

Jehovah is the God of Christ, and of his disciples. Those following Christ Jesus should also have that same God as Christ has and in Who Jesus put all his trust.
