Towards a Third World War or not

Global Climate Change issues, political polarisation like pandemic issues and vaccine inequity globally are things which make The Shambling Apocalypse wonder where we are in a time going up to a Third World War.

The author Michael Kane looks at the intensifiers which create opportunities for times to come.

They exacerbate the problems that already exist. Increasing storm intensities and financial impacts, service disruptions, increasing wildfires, droughts and floods are all increasing. Disease spread and climate migration is also going to be a problem on the increase as global temperatures rise. Rising sea levels also bring an entire suite of additional problems. {A world full of tilted dominoes}

He recognises that

while there is no evidence that at the moment we are facing an imminent disaster style apocalyptic kick off, it is really starting to feel like COVID might have kicked off the dominoes, or that at the very least, they are leaning hard right now. {A world full of tilted dominoes}

For those who regularly read the Book of books, with the Words of the Divine Creator written in it, it is clear how we are going forwards to times predicted.

The Bible tells us about the times to come and how we shall find a world with more problems than it can cope with. The Word of God describes events and conditions that would mark “the conclusion of the [current] system of things,” or “the end of the world.” (Matthew 24:3; King James Version) The Bible calls this time period “the last days” and the “time of the end,” or “end times.” (2 Timothy 3:1; Daniel 8:​19; Easy-to-Read Version)

When we look around us we can see how the deterioration of people’s attitudes takes place, and how youngsters are fleeing the real world hiding in a virtual world, where they fight many battles. In that world they are confronted with we also see how often they come to live in broken-down families, with people who have “no natural affection” and children who are “disobedient to parents. (2 Timothy 3:​2, 3).

Noteworthy are the displays of religious hypocrisy (2 Timothy 3:5) but also their need for looking for idols and false gods instead of going for the Only One Real God of gods, because their love of God is growing cold.​ (Matthew 24:12).

But the most remarkable fact shall be that most people shall not be willing to see what is going on. Widespread apathy and even ridicule toward the evidence of the approaching end shall there be when the time is approaching (Matthew 24:37-​39; 2 Peter 3:​3, 4).
