“Sound an alarm for the day of Jehovah that comes”
(November 19)
Living in these godless days we may not forget the many prophesies, stories and parables which are told in the Book of books, the Bible.
Ages after those writings were heard for the first time, we should be more aware that now the time has come closer. Today we are living in times that it is even more important that we let all the people of the land know what is going to come and why there can be a good reason to tremble, for the day of the Most High Elohim, Lord above all lords, is coming. (Joel 2:1)
As happened in the past, this century it is also time for people, to rend their heart to the Only One True God. He wants all the other gods to be set away in the darkness of oblivion. The Elohim Hashem Jehovah wants all people to come to Him with all their heart, even if it would be accompanied by denying things, fasting, weeping and mourning. (Joel 2:11-12)
The world has to know that Jehovah God is a God of love, Who knows many have departed from His statues. But He is willing to forgive those who repent and return to the Lord Jehovah their God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity. (Joel 2:13)
It is up to real believers to follow the words of God and to take heed. Believers in God do know that the Plan of God shall be fulfilled. He has been patient for a long time. But it shall not go on until eternity. One day it shall be too late for people to change.
The time shall come that nobody shall be able to ignore the great things God has done. That day the land of Judah shall not
have to be afraid and shall be able to be glad and to rejoice. (Joel 2:21) Those who love and fear God should not be so afraid of those terrible times to come when they are standing firm in their faith.
Once again it shall be a time for the people of Zion to be glad and to rejoice in Jehovah the Lord their God, because He is faithful. (Joel 2:23) At the sight of what happened and on what is going to happen, nations shall be in anguish and every face shall turn pale. (Joel 2:6) Again there shall come a time when the earth shall shake and the heavens tremble, the sun and moon shall darken and the stars no longer shine. (Joel 2:10)
Let ourself be aware that Jehovah God is above all gods and does want all honour and worship for Him. All people shall have to know that God His forces are beyond number, and that His army always obeys His command. (Joel 2:11)
Let us warn everyone around us
The day of the Lord is great; it stirs up great fear, being dreadful. Who can abide it or can endure? (Joel 2:11)
