“5 My righteousness is near, my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the peoples; the isles shall wait for me, and on mine arm shall they trust. 6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment; and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.” (Isa 51:5-6 ASV)
In the ancient times the Elohim was ready to help His people. We should not think He would be not there any more to give them or to give us some help. Deliverance is not a long-range plan. Salvation isn’t on hold. Jehovah God does not change and He is putting salvation to work in Zion also now, and glory in Israel.
“ I bring near my righteousness, it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry; and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.” (Isa 46:13 ASV)
When looking at what happened throughout the times with Israel we can not deny it has had their share of fear and terror. Problem with them as with other people is that, perhaps because they could not see their God, they sometimes doubted or even went so far to do things which were against His Will. Throughout time, after they had turned away from God, their enemies had come in and brought them to their knees, killing, raping, looting, burning and driving them into exile. God’s point in today’s chapter of Isaiah is that Israel’s enemies, like our enemies, are only mortal.
All lovers of God shall receive opposition. We may receive fierce resistance, others endeavouring to change our faith and getting us to become a member of their religion. Though God shows us a picture of Israel in their comforted state, they coming to enter Zion with singing and everlasting joy, we may understand that by the ransom payment of Christ his followers shall also be part of Christ’s family and as such also be members of God’s Family.
Our griefs were carried by the sent one from God. Our sorrows he carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. We never should forget that this beloved son of God was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities. By his sacrificial offering the chastening for our well-being fell upon him, And by his scourging, we are healed. For ages men and women have gone astray, each of us have gone turning to our own way. But the son of man has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on him. Jesus took care of the spiritual healing of Israel but also of the spiritual healing of the gentiles who wanted to be healed and saved for ever.
“4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Jehovah hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isa 53:4-6 ASV)
Jesus, who followed God’s Will bought us, so that we do not any more belong to this world, when we answer his call and come under him. That way we, bought by a price, as followers of Christ, believing and, and worshipping the same God as the One of Christ Jesus, shall not have to fear those adversaries of God. We shall be able to live by the hope of Christ so that gladness and joy will overtake us too.
The same promise of comfort as that of the Israelites applies to us. We should not fear what men can do to us or be dismayed by the problems we face in this life. All this is only temporary and will pass away to make room for something much better. God is our comfort and he will fulfil His promises.
We may trust that God is a righteous God, Who shall take into account what His only begotten son has done for all people, Jews and non-jews or gentiles. By the death of Jesus salvation, which belongs to God, has come over us.
“ Lift up your eyes on high, and see who hath created these, that bringeth out their host by number; he calleth them all by name; by the greatness of his might, and for that he is strong in power, not one is lacking.” (Isa 40:26 ASV)
“ Salvation belongeth unto Jehovah: Thy blessing be upon thy people. [[Selah” (Ps 3:8 ASV)
“ Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, That glory may dwell in our land.” (Ps 85:9 ASV)
“ even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Mt 20:28 ASV)
“ who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times;” (1Ti 2:6 ASV)
“ And hath raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of his servant David” (Lu 1:69 ASV)
“ And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.” (Ac 4:12 ASV)
“ And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.” (Mt 1:21 ASV)
“ To him bear all the prophets witness, that through his name every one that believeth on him shall receive remission of sins.” (Ac 10:43 ASV)
“ Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name;” (Php 2:9 ASV)
Lots of believers when they are a member of a church, but got to see that their church does not worship the True God of Israel, are afraid to leave that church to become a member of a non-trinitarian church, because they are afraid of what people might say and how those around them may react. They should know they better not worry about that but should fear the Right One. When finding out you have found the Real God, you should take action, come to change your ways, but also your membership, deciding not to belong any more to a trinitarian community, but to the community of followers of Christ Jesus his teachings. That day of change shall have to become a day to remember, having decided not to belong any more to this world, but to belong to the world of God. Then you shall have come to see that all Scriptures are based on “The Purpose Of God“, in which you want to fit and want to look forward to the Day to come.
“ declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;” (Isa 46:10 ASV)
In today’s reading Israel is given the hope of deliverance and everlasting peace. This promise is given that will be realized through the Messiah. The old (political) heavens and earth shall disappear to be replaced by the new in the Kingdom.
“ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” (Isa 65:17 ASV)
Make sure you to shall be one of the called ones from God, living in unity with others in Christ, living by that promise also made to others than Jews.
“ But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.” (2Pe 3:13 ASV)
Look at the phrase, my salvation. The word salvation in Hebrew is yeshua (Jesus) which is clearly referring to our Lord, the Messiah, whose kingdom shall endure forever.
“ And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” (Da 2:44 ASV)
Furthermore: my righteousness shall not be abolished (v.6). Again this is referring to Jesus who is given the title The Lord our Righteousness.
“ Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness.” (Jer 23:5-6 ASV)
Therefore let us unite and come under the Wings of Jehovah God and His only begotten beloved son Jesus Christ, with the knowledge that also for people in these contemporary times Jehovah His salvation is foreseen for us, and His arm will further bring justice to the nations. This way also now we can find hope in God’s saying
“The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm. Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last for ever, my righteousness will never fail.” (Isa 51:5-6 NIV)

In case you for years have belonged to a Trinitarian Church, you should know it is never too late to join a community that worships the only True God.
When you hear the call of God, you have to react to it and have to change your ways. That might include also changing of denomination. All over the world, you shall be able to find people, though they may be with not many, who honour and worship the Only One True God of Israel. Please look for them and talk with them. Perhaps they shall be willing to help you further with your search for the True God and for coming to worship properly how the Elohim Hashem Jehovah wants it.
If you want, we as brothers and sisters in Christ are willing to help you on your way, wherever you might live. Please do not mind asking us for advice and/or help.
