Did you ever wonder Who has done such mighty deeds, directing the affairs of generations of mankind, calling those generations from the beginning?
“Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning?
I, Jehovah, the first, and with the last, I am he.” (Isa 41:4 ASV)
From the beginning was the Adonai, The El Elyon being the first. People should know that He was and is and always shall be the same with those who are last or shall be the last generation of this system of times.
That Divine Creator Who was from the onset of times, is the God for those who want to accept Him as their God. Those He will strengthen and help.
“Fear thou not, for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isa 41:10 ASV)
Those who will say
‘I belong to Adonai, the Elohim Hashem Jehovah.’
and are the witnesses for Him, shall be convinced that here no God beside Him.
“ Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have I not declared unto thee of old, and showed it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a God besides me? yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.” (Isa 44:8 ASV)
Lots of people make themselves many gods, or adhere to a Triune god. But we should be warned by the Holy Scriptures, that we should keep to the One True God Who created heaven and earth. If we want to belong to God, and want to be part of His chosen ones, then we should be sure of our choice and following that Only One True God. All should know that there is no other God than the Elohim Hashem Jehovah. God is the only one that should be recognized.
“ Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” (Isa 43:10 ASV)
“ Unto thee it was showed, that thou mightest know that Jehovah he is God; there is none else besides him.” (De 4:35 ASV)
“ Know therefore this day, and lay it to thy heart, that Jehovah he is God in heaven above and upon the earth beneath; there is none else.” (De 4:39 ASV)
“ There is none holy as Jehovah; For there is none besides thee, Neither is there any rock like our God.” (1Sa 2:2 ASV)
In Him we can trust and therefore we should not be afraid to tell others that we love Him, follow Him and want to praise Him as our only One God.
As Brothers and sisters in Christ, we are witnesses, like Jesus Christ, the servant whom God has chosen, in order that we may know and have faith in Him. It was Jesus who worked in God’s Name and we as followers of Jesus again should continue to work also in the name of God.
“ But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh even until now, and I work.” (Joh 5:17 ASV)
Even when generations have passed, God is still with His people, still there for all those who are willing to come under His Wings. But God requires from His people that they would “call upon His name“. We should acknowledge Jehovah as our God. This means we should not always say “the Lord” as if He is a stranger or some we want to keep distance with. No, it should be as we are talking about a very close friend. You also do not say Mister or Misses so and so when you talk about your close friend, do you? We should use His proper name and not a title. That way the haters of God shall be confronted with their enemy, and be covered with shame;.
“ I have raised up one from the north, and he is come; from the rising of the sun one that calleth upon my name: and he shall come upon rulers as upon mortar, and as the potter treadeth clay.” (Isa 41:25 ASV)
“ Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see my desire upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.” (Mic 7:10 ASV)
God will hold Israel’s right hand. But He shall also be there for all those who love Him and accept Him as their own God.
Let us not forget Who it is or was Who brought everything into being and Who still gives generations reasons to survive, though struggle might be around them.
