Simplicity in Christ in a Nutshell

The beginning and ending of an exhortation by Brother John Woodward on 9/8/2019 at the Shenandoah Valley Virginia McInturff Christadelphian Meeting.

“Good morning . What a great blessing we have to be here this morning, to know our God, to have an understanding of His Word and to believe in the things that he has promised and what will shortly come to pass on this earth. To know and have faith that the Lord Jesus Christ will establish God’s Kingdom and rule and reign as king from Jerusalem. To treat that after his death he was raised again and sits now at the right hand of his father, waiting for the day that he will come to finally and completely fulfill his Father’s plan and purpose for His creation. This is truly a blessing that we need to think on each and every day of our lives.

Remember the words of Paul in Colossians 3:12-15:

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

It is time now for those who remain, to bind together in their love for God and hold fast the things that remain, until that great day when we will all rejoice forevermore.
