Last academic and religious year we lost our meeting hall in Leuven. Starbucks and Burger King taking our space to give people some totally different food at a more expensive price.
In Birmingham our brethren can keep their hall.It shall be the burger between the sandwich of a hotel.
Providing 330 beds and a restaurant at Gough Street and Suffolk Street Queensway on land surrounding the Christadelphian Hall a new 12 storeys hotel shall embrace our society its beautiful old building.
Cllr Peter Griffiths said:
“Birmingham is short of hotels and having one in this area will not only be helpful to future sports events but also for businesses.
“It does seem to wrap itself around the Christadelphian Hall in that it is staggered.
“But I think it showcases the Christadelphian Hall and I think it’s okay.”
