For our British brethren and sisters there are a lot of exciting things happening at the moment. Externally the Governments of the UK and EU nations continue to wrestle with Brexit, with a deadline of March 29 not having provided a solution. The subject has been all-consuming in recent months and has seemingly left the UK government with precious little time for other matters. We now wait and see how the Almighty will work out His plan in the coming weeks. A brief consideration of post-Brexit Britain appears on page 127 of the March issue of The Christadelphian.
Internally the UK brotherhood continues to be blessed with new Persian brothers and sisters who have recently converted to the Truth after arriving in the UK. The work to teach Persians has quickly become a nationwide effort. Ecclesias up and down the country are responding magnificently as they deal with the challenges of preaching to people from a different cultural background who often speak little English.
During 2018 The Christadelphian magazine reported the baptisms of forty-nine new Persian brothers and sisters at UK ecclesias and in the first three months of 2019 has recorded the baptisms of another forty-two. God is blessing us richly in this field and we are thankful indeed.
A report about this work can be found on page 122 of the March issue of The Christadelphian.
