A Note for your diary – Saturday 29th September God willing
Newbury ecclesia plans to hold the Mencap Fayre on the above date this year. They usually hold it in Spring but are going for an Autumn event on this occasion.
Amongst the stalls the ecclesia is running will be Art/Craft, so for those with a skill in this way we’d be pleased with your help
here.
They shall also be running the Refreshments and a Nearly New stall. This can include good quality clothing as well as items you no longer use in the kitchen. Most of us have more than enough serving dishes etc and this may be an opportunity to help to thin them out a little and may be fill somebody else’s cupboards!! – Please note the emphasis on Nearly New – They are Not having a White Elephant stall this time.
There will be the ever popular Bacon Buttie stall, ?Bookstall, Cakes and whilst Mencap Grow 4 All will be running the Plant stall,
We are sure they would be happy to receive any contributions we can make.
A last thought! In the past Newbury has on one or two occasions had their takings match-funded by a member’s company. If you think your employer would be willing to support them that would be wonderful!
