Whit Camp 2018: Whole in One

Whit Camp aims to provide a weekend of relaxing and uplifting fellowship for Christadelphians and their families. Taking place over the Whitsun Bank Holiday long weekend in May, the Camp has been an annual event for over 50 years and combines a wide range of activities to bring together all ages in a holiday environment which seeks to celebrate God’s love for us all.

Using Ephesians as a basis to explore the unity of heaven and earth in the person of Jesus and what that means for us as a Church and us as individuals: Whole in One

United in Jesus
United in our relationships
United in the Church

We intend to explore ideas around how living authentic Christian lives fosters meaningful relationships, which in turn encourages commitment to the Christian faith.  We will be using this as a basis to think about what it is that keeps people rooted to a Christian faith and actively involved in a church.

United together as family of believers.

Up to 400 people can be allowed to camp in the Leicestershire countryside at Ratcliffe College, Ratcliffe on the Wreake.

Camping in the school grounds there is a marquee for meals and communal activities, and this is the focus of the camp. Full information and programme details will be sent following receipt and acceptance of your booking, nearer the time.

There is a variety of spiritual, sporting, craft and family activities arranged over the course of the long weekend. There will be time to explore our Camp Theme and plenty of relaxation time.

Morning and evening activities tend to be communal and the afternoons a chance to follow activities of your choice – tennis, football, swimming, Bible studies, walks, crafts etc. In addition they normally have a mix of late night singing, morning prayers, and lighter evening entertainment.

We intend to explore ideas around how living authentic Christian lives fosters meaningful relationships, which in turn encourages commitment to the Christian faith.  We will be using this as a basis to think about what it is that keeps people rooted to a Christian faith and actively involved in a church. United together as family of believers.
