Recently, at the Whitestone Study Week, about 60-70 brothers, sisters, young people and children enjoyed fellowship and friendship together, either as full or part-week attendees or day visitors. Activities centred around engaging studies, practical workshops, a full programme of lessons for children, and several opportunities to praise God in song.
The ecclesia is delighted to announce that plans are now in place for the Whitestone Study Week 2018 to be held again at the Pioneer Centre, (Cleobury Mortimer, Kidderminster), from Monday 29th October to Friday 2nd November 2018 inclusive, God willing. Two main study series shall be presented, led by Bro Jon Davies (Watford) on “Mark: Identity & Following Jesus” and Bro Nathan Walker (Whitestone) on “Glorify God in your body”. These talks will be supplemented by additional studies, practical and interactive workshops, praise sessions and quality time to spend together in the company of brothers and sisters. A full children’s programme will be arranged and they welcome families with children of all ages.
The week begins on Monday morning and ends at Friday lunchtime. Private en-suite bedrooms with bedding (no towels) and all meals provided. Theree is an exclusive use of a private wing (shared dining and facilities).
Day visits are possible but must be booked and there is a charge to cover costs, including meals. Part-week places may also be available (depending on demand), and unaccompanied older children are welcome to attend – please enquire.
The Whitestone (Nuneaton) ecclesia would be thrilled to have more people joining them in 2018 and will shortly be sending flyers to all UK ecclesias with further details.
