Cognizance at the doorstep or at the internet socket

In this world human race goes about as if they are all wild animals let loose in front of all niceties they want. In this system of things there are some, a few, who do feel strongly they are going on the right path, which they want to share with others, though those other people are not at all showing much interest. As such it looks for many a very lonely road and they might find it hard choices to be made. But are they really such hard choices people do have to make? Is it made so difficult for them to go on that right path which brings peace for everybody?

In the system of things we have a world with many religions and in each of those religions so many divisions, people often do not know were to look at to find the best religious group for them. Many people do forget that there is a Hand stretching out from heaven. Already for years there are precious words written down, first on stone tablets, than papyrus roles, sheepskin scrolls, later presented all over the world in printed versions. In them God tells the world to move and to make the right choice.

For those who think finding a church where they can grow is not an easy task, we would like to advice to find the church stones already in their heart and close in their neighbourhood, plus in these present times at their doorstep or at the internet socket. Today there are many means for getting the Word of God into the house and into your heart.

The Divine Creator cares about His creation and looks at the people who think they all can do it on their own. God knows their heart and knows how much man does need Him. Therefore He always wanted to help them and to get them back on the road. Throughout history He followed them and guided them, being ready to help them where necessary. For all people He provide His words. He took care They were written down for further generations so that all could learn form them.

God dwelled among the Israelites and was their God.  (Exodus 29:45) God dwells “among”. Also today He is here around us all. he is willing to give a listening ear. When we read through Leviticus 13-15 we can see that when the people are clean, God’s dwelling is uncontaminated. Yet, when the people are unclean, suddenly God’s dwelling is in danger.

Men of God, priests, preachers, rabbis, should know the purity of God, but the last decennials we have seen that many of those so called ‘men of God‘ did not live such clean life. This also made many people wonder about their institutions or churches. Lots of people forgot that those people, who should be an example, are not the church. They may say they present the church or the Body of Christ, but that Body of Christ is made up by followers of Christ who live according the mitzvot, the rules and regulations not of a church, but of God.

As we pointed out in the previous article, not much had changed by the time of Jeshua, neither after the master rabbi had left this earth. Jews and Greeks were still all in the same boat, like today … all under sin.  In this age we can find Jews, Muslims but also Christians saying that they are better than the rest of the world. Already in the first century of this era the apostle Paul warned that it was not so. In his time he found already followers of Christ who accused everyone -Jews and non-Jews alike- of being under the power of sin. He warned them that it is just like the Scripture says, that there is not even one person of integrity, not one who understands, not one who searches for God.
In his time the very religious people could see the many who had turned away. Jesus also had given them a parable about the seed, giving them a pure example how it goes in this world were some hear, others not, and how that hearing does not always result in the right growing.

In our world we may find also lots of people were-off we can say that their throat is an open tomb, with their tongues telling lies. also today we do find lots of people where the venom of an asp hides behind their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and poison.

Rom 3:9-12 The Scriptures 1998+  (9)  What then? Are we better than they? Not at all, for we have previously accused both Yehud?im and Greeks that they are all under sin.  (10)  As it has been written, “There is none righteous, no, not one!  (11)  “There is no one who is understanding, there is none who is seeking Elohim.  (12)  “They all have turned aside, they have together become worthless. There is none who does good, no, not one.”

Today those people still did not recognize the path of peace.  Today we also see many youngsters and older ones, who should know better, their feet eagerly running to shed blood, and disaster and misery lie on their paths.

For those whose throat is an open sepulchre and do not really carry the spirit of the Real True God in them, they should know that at one point the time shall come that God’s justice shall also come over them. All those who claimed to be handling in the name of Allah, the Just God, but with their tongues using deceit, having poison of vipers under their lips, shall have to be very careful the anger of God will not turn against them.

We should always be very careful when we think we can speak in the Name of God. We also should be very careful if we judge some one. Today we do find lots of people who do not like God, but also others who say they love God but whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.  Could it not be that destruction and misery are in their ways? Is it not because they do not known the way of peace? Is it also not because there is no fear of God before their eyes?

Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law: that every one may be silenced, and all the world plead guilty before God.  For by the observation of the law no one shall be justified in His sight, since it is the law that takes cognizance of sin.

Rom 3:13-20 The Scriptures 1998+  (13)  “Their throat is an open tomb, with their tongues they have deceived,” “The poison of adders is under their lips,”  (14)  “Whose mouth is filled with cursing and bitterness.”  (15)  “Their feet are swift to shed blood,  (16)  ruin and wretchedness are in their ways,  (17)  and the way of peace they have not known.”  (18)  “There is no fear of Elohim before their eyes.”  (19)  And we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those who are in the Torah, so that every mouth might be stopped, and all the world come under judgment before Elohim.  (20)  Therefore by works of Torah no flesh shall be declared right before Him, for by the Torah is the knowledge of sin.1 Footnote: 1Ex. 20:20, Rom. 4:15, Rom. 7:7.

A believer in Adonai and Jeshua writes:

So many people want to throw out Torah yet Torah is our definition of sin.  Pretty much everyone agrees that we sin.  How do you know what sin is if the Torah is thrown out?  How is G-d going to hold you accountable if you throw out Torah?  If the Torah is thrown out, do you even sin today?  Over and over again Yeshua said in one way or another “go and sin no more”.  To not sin means to keep the Torah. {Under The Law}

But lots of people do not know Torah or how to keep Torah. Lots of people do not know how they have to be or to form their character to be found righteous in front of the eyes of God. Those who have found God already should help others to find God. They should show the way and with their presence in our society they should be an example of a follower of Christ and of a lover of God. They also should know which are the best works to form them and to make others adjustable to become real children of God.

To be a child of God you first have to be willing to accept the God of gods as your heavenly Father. After having accepted Him as your Father you should be willing to listen to Him and to accept His regulations as the best for you.

Most difficult for a lot of people seems to be to get rid of all the old attitudes. they have the vestige of allegiance to the old, and do not want or can not come to “throw them way.” Lots of people do not want to make changes in their lives that will help them keep up with Torah. Or they do not want to know about old books in which they should find guidance and enough advice to make their life better and easier.

Though they do not have to go for to find that best advice. It is so easy to day to find the Word of God translated in many languages so that every person should be able to find the Word of God in a language he easily can read and understand. If you know people who would like to know God but do say they can not find a bible, please offer them a Bible, show them where they can find a Bible for free or get them in contact with people who can provide a free bible and free bible course. We also offer a free Bible tool and free Bible studies.

On the internet lots of sites can be found where people can look at different Bible translations. Though we do agree they do have to be willing to look for it and to use it. They do have to take initiative and go for it. Just giving it without any further reaction shall not help.

How we fulfil our duties as talmidim is determined by our character. Those who love God shall be eager to share their love for the Most High with others and shall be prepared to show others the Words of God in the Holy Scriptures. That library of old scrolls is the most important Guide we should use. Every searcher for God should have the Bible in his or her house. It is an essential work to get to know God and to get a transformation of your person in somebody God really can love.

First we do have to look at our own house, in our own environment and in our own heart. It is all there. We should not try to accuse others for us not finding God. Each person in their own house should be able to find everything to find God. We all should know that it is important who we meet and whom ànd what we shall let into our house. We are ourselves responsible for the choices we make and for what we let our hearts become defiled with. Wanting to come closer to God we should be taking care what we allow our ears to hear and our eyes to see.  We have to pay careful attention to what we watch or look at and to whom we listen because these will either keep our  personal ‘Temple’ clean or will defile it.

It is through that salvation is freely given, but people do have to accept it. Real salvation comes by having emunah (faith), which shall stimulate us to have works according to that faith, because faith without works is dead.

Jas 2:14-26 The Scriptures 1998+  (14)  My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but does not have works? This belief is unable to save him.  (15)  And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food,  (16)  but one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what use is it?  (17)  So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead.  (18)  But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works.  (19)  You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons also believe – and shudder!  (20)  But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that the belief without the works is dead?  (21)  Was not Aḇraham our father declared right by works when he offered Yitsḥaq his son on the altar?  (22)  Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the works the belief was perfected?  (23)  And the Scripture was filled which says, “Aḇraham believed Elohim, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And he was called, “Elohim’s friend.”  (24)  You see, then, that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone.  (25)  In the same way, was not Raḥaḇ the whore also declared right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?  (26)  For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.

When we do come into the faith we shall have to listen to God’s Words and shall have to obey them. Without obedience to God His Wishes we shall not be able to do anything with the blessings of Jesus his ransom offering.

In this world there are many who want to prove to you and us that belief without deeds is empty. From the examples in Scripture we should see how the belief of many was helping along their deeds, and how by their actions their belief was brought to maturity. So then, as the body without a spirit is dead, even so belief without deeds is dead.

And those necessary actions have to be taken first at your own, in your own house, in your own heart. In the heart the transformation has to occur. and to let it happen you should read regularly in the Word of God, which you can find in the Bible. That great work or Books of books, can give the best knowledge about God and about how to live. You should come to recognise it as the best manual for you and for every human being.
