In a world which knows no peace sharing blessed hope

The Jewish people struggled through the Roman/Edomite, Ishmaelite and European exile and had to face terrible times for their people on several occasions throughout history. But always they kept believing that their God, the God of Abraham, was not going to leave them abandoned. For them they had the assurance in the book-rolls which survived the times of horror.

They had several readings in the scrolls which told them that those who would not turn their back on the Torah would find guidance and would get peace in mind. The Bible readings of June the 3rd (Isaiah and Hebrews) have verses which encourage such peace of mind, others a sense of awe at what is coming on the world – the judgements our godless world deserves. Isaiah 26 is a grouping of quite contrasting revelations from God – verses 3 and 4 are worthy of being memorised.

Isa 26:3-4 The Scriptures 1998+ (3) “The one steadfast of mind You guard in perfect peace, for he trusts in You. (4) “Trust in יהוה {Jehovah} forever, for in Yah, יהוה {Jehovah}, is a rock of ages.

Those who are wiling to read in the scrolls or in the Book of books may find the Words of God which will keep them in perfect peace when their mind is stayed on the Most High Elohim Hashem Jehovah. Trust in the Adonai forever, having a mind that is “stayed on” God, we can find the only foundation for “perfect peace” in a world which knows no peace.

Jews and several Christians, like us and the Jehovah’s Witnesses do know this world could be facing the Acharit-hayamim or the ends of System of Things. The Jews look at their Jewish system of things and the then future system of things that the Messiah or Kristos, like the Christians accept the Nazarene Jewish prophet Jeshua as their Christ who would bring a new system or New World by way of the new covenant. The reign of Jesus returned to the earth will see the time when God His judgements would be the most important ruling again in the earth, the inhabitants of the earth learning righteousness. But at the moment, as in Isaiah’s day, God His Hand is lifted up because we are now living in a system of things governed by the wicked and most people not seeing it. (verse 11).

Isa 26:7-9 The Scriptures 1998+ (7) The path of the righteous is uprightness; O upright One, You weigh the course of the righteous. (8) Also, in the path of Your right-rulings, O יהוה {Jehovah}, we have waited for You; the longing of our being is for Your Name and for the remembrance of You. (9) My being longs for You in the night, also, my spirit within me seeks You earnestly. For when Your right-rulings are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learn righteousness.

Isa 26:10-13 The Scriptures 1998+ (10) The wrong finds favour, yet he shall not learn righteousness; in the land of straightforwardness he acts perversely, and does not see the excellency of יהוה {Jehovah}. (11) O יהוה {Jehovah}, Your hand is high, they do not see. They see the ardour of the people and are ashamed; also, let the fire for Your adversaries consume them. (12) O יהוה {Jehovah}, You establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us. (13) O יהוה {Jehovah} our Elohim, other masters besides You have had rule over us; only in You do we make mention of Your Name.

Jesus in Matthew 12:32 referred to that same future state in promising that those leaving home and family for the sake of God’s Kingdom would get “many times more in this period of time [form of kai·rosʹ, meaning “appointed time”], and in the coming system of things [form of ai·onʹ] everlasting life.” (Luke 18:29, 30)

Luk 18:29-30 The Scriptures 1998+ (29) And He said to them, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the reign of Elohim, (30) who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come everlasting life.”

The world had to undergo the things brought over it by man himself. Often we find saying what a horrible God it must be letting all such things happen, but they do forget man himself demanded their own right to govern and to take care of everything. God has given them the right to do it like they want it, but than they should come not to complain to Him.

In Isaiah and Jesus their time there were still ages to come. They spoke of that time which human race had to face.

Jews and Christians, from Scriptures, can know that God did all His wonder-works and let His promises fulfil so that in the future world He could show how truly good and kind He is to us because of what Christ Jesus has done. In Ephesians 2:7 we do find the plural form of ai·onʹ used for referring to the “coming systems of things” in which the anointed Christians are to experience a surpassingly rich demonstration of God’s undeserved kindness toward them “in union with Christ Jesus.” (Compare Ephesians 1:18-23; Hebrews 6:4, 5.) This indicates that there will be systems of things, or states, within the overall “coming system of things,” even as the system of things under the Law covenant embraced interrelated, contemporaneous systems.

Eph 2:7 The Scriptures 1998+ (7) in order to show in the coming ages the exceeding riches of His favour in kindness toward us in Messiah יהושע {Jeshua}.

We can not escape this world or not be living beings in this system of things, but it does not mean we have to be part of it. When we are willing to “see” the Hand of the Most High behind everything which He allows to happen but also in the good things that He makes sure that happen, we can be sure that everything shall happen in God’s time like God wants it to happen.

It is the Most High Supreme Being that will ordain peace for us. Not only God‘s chosen People Israel shall see what their God has done. Adonai has also done those works for all that want to know about Him and want to honour Him as the Rightful Judge of the world.

In affliction man will remember the Divine Creator (Isaiah 26:16) and when chastening comes upon man they often know Who to pray to. In trouble, man mostly very well know to find the Most Important One, who can help them. It is also Him Who increases the nation ans shall take care that the promise of the Holy Land shall become a reality. In our system of things we can see how this evolves to something nobody can ignore. The Judaic people are finding their promised land.

From the Bible readings of today we can understand that all those who ignore the Hand of God (His Might) shall be put to shame. When they know they shall be ashamed: jealousy shall seize upon an untaught nation, and now fire shall devour the adversaries. They shall come to see that the believers in God are right to belief God is the Most Holy One Who shall and can give us peace: for He has rendered to us all things. He is the One Supreme Being Who has to take possession of us.

Jews, Christians, Muslims they all say they want to honour God. But do they do the things God wants from them? Are they keeping God’s commandments? Today, How many are living by God His laws and observing His mitzvot, putting them above all other commandments brought in by man in this world? How many do know the Name of their God? Do they really have no other god besides the Elohim, the Adonai or Allah, Whose Name is Holy and Mighty, Hashem Jehovah?

Are you prepared to name God bis Holy Name?

Isaiah 26: 13 Reference Bible:13 O Jehovah our God, other masters besides you have ruled over us,+ But we make mention of your name alone.+

2 Timothy 2:19: 19 Despite that, the solid foundation of God remains standing, having this seal, “Jehovah* knows those who belong to him,”+ and, “Let everyone calling on the name of Jehovah*+ renounce unrighteousness.”

From the Holy Scriptures we do know that the dead shall not see life, neither shall physicians by any means raise them up: therefore God has brought wrath upon them, and slain them. In affliction I remembered Him Whose chastening is to us with small affliction. We see lots of bad things which happen in this system of things but trust God and belief in those works which have been done in the strength that God gives to us – and then we will heed the warning given. We shall know what to do when the end of times comes in front of our door. In the Bible we shall have found enough words to guide us and to give us enough information to recognise the signs and to prepare ourselves.

We shall know when to enter our chambers, and shut our doors behind us; to hide ourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. For behold the Most High shall let it happen that the moment of judgement shall come. Alls shall have to see it how Jehovah is coming from His place to call the inhabitants of the land to account for their error, and the land will expose her bloodshed and will no longer cover over her slain.

Isa 26:20-21 The Scriptures 1998+ (20) Go, my people, enter your rooms, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the displeasure is past. (21) For look, יהוה {Jehovah} is coming out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness. And the earth shall disclose her blood, and no longer cover her slain.

There are words in our Hebrews reading which dovetail in with these. We should put our hope in the Words of God, trust Him and should hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Looking at those writings God has prepared for us we should be fully aware of the importance of those words and how important it is to let others know this. In case we do love those around us, we should not be ashamed to share our love for God and His word and should tell about that what we get to know from the Holy Scriptures. We should consider how to stir up one another to love and good works … encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near (Hebrews 10:23-25).

Heb 10:23-27 The Scriptures 1998+ (23) Let us hold fast the confession of our expectation without yielding, for He who promised is trustworthy. (24) And let us be concerned for one another in order to stir up love and good works,1 Footnote: 1Mt. 16:27. (25) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging, and so much more as you see the Day coming near. (26) For if we sin purposely after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a slaughter offering for sins,1 Footnote: 1See also 6:6, Heb. 9:7, Num. 15:15-28. (27) but some fearsome anticipation of judgment, and a fierce fire which is about to consume the opponents.

Living in this system of things, with the knowledge that the Law has a shadow + of the good things to come, we should not let anyone judge us about our activities we try to do according the Holy Scriptures. In the knowledge that those things are a shadow of the good things to come,+ but not the very substance of the things, we should share our blessed hope in the reality that belongs to the Christ.+
