To be prepared and very well oiled

You Know Neither The Day Nor The Hour so we do have to be alert and consider it be possible that it can be today, tomorrow, after tomorrow or in due time that Jesus shall return to the earth. We can see a lot of foolish people around us who do not think it is necessary to prepare for that return. They do not want to take ‘oil for their lamps’.

We can see this parable being very prophetical, because we do see this world in the darkness and even Christians not being alert for what is going to come or even for what is happening. Naturally you could say that those who are believers should not worry for those who are not wiling to prepare themselves. All are given the example of the five wise virgins and of the fools who are always thinking they still have more than time enough.

Let us take heed. the parable which suits all ages, but especially the last days and suits the world, is most important for the the church of God. Many religions claim to be lovers of Christ, though we stills ee that they are not willing to appreciate what Christ really has done. They still do not want to believe Jesus was able to follow not his Will, but the Will of the Father. By denying his manhood, and making him to their god, they take the focus away from the ransom offering and from the loving God Who accepted the blood of that man as a payment for the sins of all.
Today we do still see a lot of Christians who do not want to believe God nor want to believe His son, of what they said about each other. Lots of Christians say that they believe God and believe in Jesus Christ, but they deny that that Jesus was a son of man and keep taking him as a god son instead of a son of God. We do not wonder why they do not just want to believe Him, because than they have to drop all their human dogma’s and such nice traditions which are full of paganism which give life so much more fun (they think).

We also see that many say they are Christian, but do not serve Him like God wants to be served.

Serving God is not running up and down the streets, telling people about Jesus and handing out tracts. To some people, that is serving God. In reality, even though it is part of it, it is the least of it. {Do You Believe God?}

God has given His Word for us to follow, but it is also the oil we do need to be ‘oiled’, to keep going strong. He also has given enough advice to know Who we should fear more than man. Though still the majority wants to stick to what the priests and pastors do want them to believe of a three-headed god. We wonder why they did not get enough oil in their lamps. God is prepared to give His Spirit, and His Power can over anybody who is willing to have that Power working in him or her. but most men and women do like to stay in their own comfort zone, not being aware that clinging to the human traditions they drift into habits which become tyrannies and dominant. Being made in the image of God we all do have an inner feeling and the power of intelligent self-awareness, or conscience, enabling a man to examine his own mental processes subjectively. Looking a himself or herself, each of us has to look also at what is happening in the world and has to examine which position to take, either fearing man or God.

Pro 14:26 The Scriptures 1998+ (26) In the fear of יהוה {Jehovah} is strong trust, And His children have a place of refuge.

Pro 20:27 The Scriptures 1998+ (27) The spirit of a man is the lamp of יהוה {Jehovah}, Searching all his inmost parts.

God knows our heart and we should be well aware of the consequences of His insight of our personality and of that what we keep hidden for others.

Has the Divine Nature ever bent over your nature, communicating to it its glow and fire? If so, be very careful that no puff of wind shall extinguish that sacred spark; and see that it is supplied with the daily nutriment it requires.

We all have to take care that what we believe and in whom we believe can transform us and can let a clear shining of light not be hidden under a bushel, but placed on the stand, that it may give light to all who come i our surroundings. The glory of the light of God should come to radiate from the Christian believer. Being full of God, he or she should also be full of kind words over the Most High and over what He has done for us.

We should not have any doubt how important it is to serve God in the right manner, not in our way but according to the Will of the Most High Elohim. To be able to serve Him rightly we also should open our mind to Him, so that His Power, the Holy Spirit can give us much fruit.

We should see that today we have the kingdom of heaven (the church) be likened not to wise virgins only, but that we have half of it also being foolish, not prepared.

Mat 25:1-4 The Scriptures 1998+ (1) “Then the reign of the heavens shall be compared to ten maidens who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. (2) “And five of them were wise, and five foolish. (3) “Those who were foolish, having taken their lamps, took no oil with them, (4) but the wise took oil in their containers with their lamps.

Would you prepare yourself to be nicely dressed and to be ready, being on time for the wedding celebrations you are invited for? Well we are invited for a special wedding and it can well be that the bridegroom may be soon here.

God’s current reign over the lives of redeemed people will one day be consummated in His reign over all the earth (cf. Matthew 6:10). The signs of the coming Last Days are presented in the Holy Scriptures. Everybody who wants to know them can learn about them in the Bible. You may say the ‘year of binding betrothal’ has passed and that we can soon have the groom coming to the bride’s home on an assigned day (which we do not know exactly) to bring her to his home for a seven day feast.

“the bridegroom was delaying”

may refer to the delay of Jesus’ return, because he and his heavenly Father do want as many as possible to be saved. We must be careful, when the bridegroom takes time, not to fall asleep or to lessen our attention.

It may be shocking for some Christians, and certainly for those who think there should be no work to be done, part of these examples in Matthew 25 is that these were seemingly part of the followers of Jesus, but somehow were not (cf. Matthew 13, the parable of the soils and the parable of the tares). As Paul says in Romans 9:6,

“they are not all Israel who are from Israel,”

so too, not all the outward followers of Jesus Christ are redeemed (cf. 2 Peter 2:20-22; 1 John 2:18-19 and even possibly some of the warnings of Hebrews [i.e., Hebrews 2:1-4; 3:7-13; 4:1-13; 5:11 to Hebrews 6:12; 10:26-39; 12:14-17]) Lack of preparation has eternal consequences. This is parallel to Matthew 24:50-51; 25:29-30; and Matthew 25:41-44.

The many churches we have in this world should make us to think about which one of those are really following God’s Word and serving God in the manner God wants it.

Let us examine everything with the Bible in our hand and by our Bible Study come to the right conclusions, being prepared to change there where we need to. You have to make up your mind as to where you are willing to be, either being part of the five (the number of grace and the number of ministry) wise ones being part of a wise ministry or being part of a foolish ministry.

The foolish ministry are leading people into a certain direction. The wise ministry are leading people in another direction. You have to decide which direction is the one in which God is leading you. {Likened unto Ten Virgins – Part 1}

In wich way are you willing to choose the right group and be willing to do your work to become a part of God loving people who all together want to be united in god His Church?

    God still wanted a race of people who would glorify Him. But how would God bring this about? He would do it through another man! Since ruin came to the human race through one man — Adam, God would provide salvation for the human race through one man — Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.”

    it should go without saying, but you must first of all desire to submit to the reign of God. This is so obvious, but then again, I am the master at discovering what everyone else already knows. If you do not want God to reign in your life, or in anyone else’s life, He simply will not force himself upon you. To want God to reign in your life you must be willing to surrender every other king in your life – money, prestige, power, status, country, possessions, even people.

    Of course Jesus alludes to the farmer being God; that’s the only logical explanation. It is God the farmer who plants the crop and later harvests it; it is God the farmer who tends the soil, who ‘does the work.’ It’s ironic that farming is considered, by the citified, to be a bumpkin vocation because, without the bumpkin farmers, the citified elite would starve.   It’s further ironic, don’t you think, that Jesus talks about Himself as a farmer?   After all, He had grown up in a village, presumably learning a trade.   While He must have known farmers Jesus wasn’t, by trade, one of them.   And yet here is one of His more famous and elegant parables and in it He takes the form of a farmer.

    While Jesus has resorted to telling parables to conceal the meaning of his messages from those who were hostile toward him, he also spoke directly in symbolic terms. In this he foretells Peter that he will become the rock on which his church will be built. And, he tells him that he will have the keys to kingdom of heaven.

    The father has devoted his life to his family, but the prodigal son’s departure forms an unmistakable response to his father: it’s not good enough.
