  • What’s in a name? (quest4light.net)
Hidden in plain sight from the reader of the English translations of the Bible are several linguistic nuances that range from how the shaping of the letters are to the number of letters in a parshat to the different names used for the Almighty. You don’t even have to go very far – in the book of Genesis the following names are used – Elohim, YHVH, YHVH Elohim, El Shaddai, and Yah.
  • The Name of the True GOD (shanecloud.com)
The prophets promised that there would be a shaking of the earth in the last days, and that during the time of trouble the Name of the true GOD would become known throughout all the earth!

The rendering of YHWH asYahweh” is a modern conjecture (first suggested in the 16th century by biblical scholar Gilbert Genebrard, professor of Hebrew at the College Royal in Paris)
  • Clearing the confusion on the use of Allah in Bahasa Bibles (hornbillunleashed.wordpress.com)
Biblical translators all over the world have used the local language terms for Elohim and Yahweh e.g. God and LORD in English; Dios and Senor in Spanish, Shangti and Zhu in Chinese
    +
For 15 centuries, Arabic Bibles have used Allah for God and Rab for Lord (predate Islam)
    +
Forbidding the use of the term “Allah” by Christians not only infringes their rights to practise their faith but also leads to confusion. For example, is the “Tuhan” in Negara-Ku and Rukun Negara not the “Muslim God” or can Christians sing the Selangor Anthem where “Allah” is used?
  • I am YAHUWAH your Almighty Loving YAH of all Creation.. Have no foreign gods (elohim)before your face (lissakr11humanelife.wordpress.com)
Today’s most popular translations of The Original Scriptures are riddled with political deception, corruption and pagan gods from 1700 years ago in 321 AD when the “Holy Roman Universal (Catholic) Circe (Church)” was formed by sun-god worshipping Constantine and his pagan bishops! They changed the Scripture enormously, over 66,000 times! Primary Biblical scholars today know of these but are afraid to shake up “the goose laying the golden eggs!”
  • יהוה (doyouseethelight.wordpress.com)
To me the NAME in Hebrew looks like a strong, firm, solid foundation that can hold up to anything.  Also I think the NAME in Hebrew looks like a face (eyes, nose and ear).  YHWH breathed life life into existence, HE sees all and hears the growing of our spirits.YHWH YOU are awesome!!!
  • God knows us by our name, shouldn’t we know Him by His? (thechurchatcarrollton.wordpress.com)
On this website several titles are given, but as often happens there is no difference made to titles, attributes and names. We advice the writer and his readers also to look at the article: Attributes to God, names and titles
  • Praise the Lord (wordsofgrace.wordpress.com)
Indicators of skewed priorities in churches abound.  Yet this morning’s newspaper contains a statement from a pastor of a “sound,” “evangelical” church that pinpoints the problems in too many contemporary American churches:  “We’re really building a community center, more than we are a worship center.”
  • Ah, Lord God! (aviesplace.wordpress.com)
Father, I thank You for Who You are to me. I thank You for making a way where there seems to be no way and for doing the impossible! You are Elohim, the Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth and all that is within it. You are Jehovah, the Great I AM, the self-existent One, Who is ever-present with us! You are the God Who is more than enough, El-Shadai, the all-sufficient One! You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides for my every need! You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals! You are El Elyon, the Most High God! You are El-Roi, the God who sees everything that we go through! You never sleep and You never slumber, but You are always aware of what we are experiencing. You are Adonai, my Lord and Master! I praise You this morning because You are worthy to receive my praise!
