Bible in a nutshell

 

Did you ever wonder what the Bible is all about?

 

If you’ve ever wondered what the Bible is all about, and want a basic introduction to it, then there is a seminar for you in Burton upon Trent, also known as Burton-on-Trent or simply Burton.

 

We do not know if the Burton breweries can make such good beer as the Belgians, but at the seminar you shall be able to slake your thirst with refreshing spiritual thoughts in this town straddling the River Trent in the east of Staffordshire, England. The town originally grew up around Burton on Trent Abbey, which was the most important religious centre in medievalStaffordshire. But at the meeting they are not going to look at the Bible from any dogmatic views which they taught at that abbey.

As there may be confusion as to whether Burton is based in the West Midlands or the East Midlands many people are confused by what the Bible really is. For many Catholics it is their missal or their catechism.  For many Christians it is just the New Testament, inclusive all the denominational footnotes.

 

We do think they shall look at more than those few know passages which are in some church-books, which some consider to be the Bible. But they shall show that the Bible is much, much more than those few paragraphs read at service on Sundays, in many churches.

 

Out brothers in Christ are going to give an overview of the Bible message. First of all they shall show why it is important to recognise that the Bible, the Word of God is more than just the New Testament. They shall consider why there are two testaments and shall give advice on how to read and understand it better.
