Belangrijkheid van de Heilige Schrift
Veel mensen moeten lachen om degenen die genieten van het lezen van de Oude boeken der boeken, de Bijbel. Van al die boeken, brengen de laatste reeks de wereld blijde tijding. Na de Hebreeuwse Geschriften welke veel aankondigingen brengen, mogen de mensen in de Griekse Geschriften nu veel volbrengingen van die beloofde zaken zien. In het Nieuwe Testament vinden we ook de apostel Lukas zijn geschriften over de eerste volgelingen van Christus. Hij geeft ons een idee wat er om ging in de eerste gemeenschappen van de toenmalige sekte De Weg.
De schrijvende Apostel Paulus
Het deel Handelingen van de Apostelen uit de Nieuwe Testament lezingen brengt voor ons een beeld hoe het evangelie zich kon verspreiden van Jeruzalem naar Rome, van Jood tot niet Jood of van gelovige tot niet gelovige of ongelovigen. Lukas begint en eindigt met zijn gedachten over het Koninkrijk Gods en geeft ons met de later geconverteerde Paul een idee van wat moois er voor ons is weg gelegd.
De man die Lukas en Paulus volgden, was een profeet van God die naar deze wereld kwam om alles wat duidelijker te maken. Jezus van Nazareth wilde dat we meer te weten zouden komen over de Schepper op de beste manier die we konden om zo veel mogelijk te weten te komen over Hem. Voor deze grote leraar van zo’n kleine plaats, was het duidelijk dat hij niet in die kleine plaats kon blijven, maar dat hij moest gaan rondtrekken om zo meerdere mensen in contact te brengen met het Goede Nieuws. Ook wenste hij dat anderen zijn voorbeeld zouden volgen om uit te gaan in de wereld om dat prachtige nieuws, van wat er zou gaan verwezenlijkt worden door de wil van God, te verkondigen. Voor Jeshua was het duidelijk, zij die hem wilde volgen, moesten de Wil van de Vader herkennen en moeten als voornaamste doel ook de prediking van het evangelie hebben.
Vandaag is daar nog steeds niets aan veranderd. Degenen die zichzelf christen noemen, dat zou moeten betekenen dat het echte volgelingen van Jezus Christus zijn, moeten het woord van het Evangelie verspreiden. Zij moeten aan anderen vertellen over het goede nieuws over de dingen van het Koninkrijk. Zoals de eerste volgelingen van Jezus het Woord van God niet mochten verwaarlozen mogen ook wij het niet veronachtzamen. Ook vandaag is het niet juist om de verkondiging van Gods woord op te geven om voedsel uit te delen of ons meer met caritatieve doeleinden bezig te houden.
“Toen in die dagen het getal der leerlingen steeds maar bleef stijgen, begonnen de hellenisten tegen de hebreën te mopperen, dat hùn weduwen bij de dagelijkse verzorging ten achter werden gesteld. Daarom riep het twaalftal de menigte der leerlingen bijeen, en zeide: Het is niet goed, dat wij het woord Gods verwaarlozen, om aan tafel te dienen.” (Handelingen 6:1-2 CANIS)
Wat de twaalf betreft die het hele lichaam van de leerlingen bij elkaar riep, zo moeten ook wij als ecclesia iedereen bij elkaar roepen en tot elkaar zeggen: “Het is niet goed dat we het prediken van het Woord van God zouden moeten verwaarlozen om voor de rekeningen te zorgen. “ We moeten er ook voor zorgen dat we kunnen groeien in het woord van God en dat we van een goede reputatie kunnen genieten, tegelijkertijd praktisch als geestelijk gelijkgezind zijnde. Als individuen, maar ook als een gemeenschap van broeders en zusters moeten we ons van ganser harte zetten aan het gebed en de bediening van het Woord.
Het kan alarmerend zijn als we zien hoe de wereld zich ontwikkelt, maar aan de andere kant kan het ook mooi zijn te merken dat we een bijzondere tijd, die al lang voorspeld is, te gemoed treden. We komen ook naar een tijd waar velen het geloof in het Woord van God verloren hebben, en velen niet iets willen weten over een god, of een betere manier van leven willen leren kennen. Hoewel velen het Woord van God opzij kunnen gezet hebben, mogen wij toch ook merken dat er anderen zijn die naarstig op zoek zijn naar de Waarheid en bereid zijn om tijd te nemen om meer te weten te komen. Degenen die op zoek zijn voor het doel van dit leven en voor wie er achter zit zijn degenen die gebruik willen maken van de Bijbel om zich verder te verdiepen in waarden en normen en redenen van of voor dit leven. Zij willen tijd nemen om het Woord van God te bestuderen. Zo merken wij dat over de gehele wereld toch meerdere mensen naar dat Boek der Boeken grijpen. Dus het Woord van God kan meer en meer terrein krijgen . In de wereld kunnen we zien dat het aantal leerlingen sterk verhoogt. Net als in de oude tijden moeten we soms van niets te beginnen, doordat er geen enkele gelovige in de buurt te vinden is. Maar doordat het vuur in ons schijnt kunnen wij het licht voor anderen zijn. Door ons enthousiasme kunnen wij het goede gevoel van het goede nieuws verspreiden.
Hoewel de meerderheid van de wereld misschien niet geïnteresseerd zal zijn in God en Zijn Woord, zal het Woord van de Heer nog steeds terrein kunnen winnen en zijn invloed vergroten. Want daar zit juist de Kracht van God achter, dat niettegenstaande al de tegenwerking Gods Woord toch overeind is gebleven en zich verder doorheen de wereld verspreidt.
“Maar het woord des Heren groeide aan, en breidde zich uit.” (Handelingen 12:24 CANIS)

Wij hebben de verantwoordelijkheid om het woord van God te laten vermeerderen. Voortdurend wordt ons verteld dat het belangrijkste instrument om het evangelie aan anderen te brengen het Woord was. De volgelingen van Christus moesten er niet voor terugschrikken om dat Woord van god te spreken. Zo lezen we ook in Handelingen 4: 31 dat de apostelen het Woord van God spraken met vrijmoedigheid. Waardoor weer anderen dit Woord tot zich konden nemen.
“Na hun gebed trilde de plaats, waar ze waren vergaderd; allen werden vervuld van den Heiligen Geest, en spraken vrijmoedig Gods woord.” (Handelingen 4:31 CANIS)
“Toen de apostelen te Jerusalem vernamen, dat Samaria het woord Gods had aangenomen, zonden ze Petrus en Johannes er heen.” (Handelingen 8:14 CANIS)
Na er voor gekozen te hebben volgelingen van Christus te zijn moeten wij ook “in Christus” zijn en proberen te worden “zoals Christus”. Als christenen moeten we onszelf aan Christus Jezus geven en moeten als zodanig deel gaan uitmaken van hem, die in het woord vlees is geworden. De geleding van dit is erg ontnuchterend, om deel te worden van Jezus betekent dit dat ons leven moet zijn als zijn leven, gehuld in het Woord. Jezus was de man die Gods Woord in de buurt van alle mensen, gelovigen en niet-gelovigen, Joden en heidenen bracht.
Jezus maakte het erg duidelijk dat we moesten leven volgens de geest van de wet en daarom moeten we het Woord van God moesten beleven . Elke handeling die we doen moet onder de leiding van de hoogste God gebeuren. Elk woord dat we spreken moet in respect zijn ten opzichte van elke creatie van de Almachtige. De vele boeken die God heeft verstrekt aan het publiek zijn niet alleen letters op een stuk papier om plezier in lezen te geven. De woorden op het papier moeten in het bloed van de lezer gaan. Zij moeten in de hersenen binnen treden en er een levend deel van worden. Het Woord van God moet een integraal geheel worden dat door al onze aderen vloeit en ons zo wel lichamelijk als geestelijk voedt.
Wanneer we in de wereld gaan moeten we het Woord van God uitademen. In alles wat we doen moeten mensen iets speciaals zien. Voor anderen moet er een verschil te merken zijn tussen een goede heiden of een ongelovige en een christelijke. Het evangelie wordt gepredikt op zijn best wanneer het wordt geleefd.
Nederlandstalig Nieuw Testament
Als anderen kunnen neer kijken op ons en zeggen dat ze met een volgeling van Jezus zijn geweest en getuige konden zijn van deze Jezus van lang geleden in de wereld van vandaag, is het goed. We moeten in staat zijn om de anderen het gevoel mee te geven dat ze misschien iets van hem hebben geleerd. Om dit te doen moeten we toestaan dat onze geest wordt ontwikkeld door Gods Woord. Het menselijke denken, of de geest van het vlees is iets dat wij van nature bezitten. De gedachte van de geest kan alleen worden verkregen door enten in het Schrift. Het belang van het Woord van God in ons leven kan niet worden onderschat.
Jehovah heeft gezegd dat de hemel voor Hem een troon is, en de aarde Zijn voetenbank, waarbij Hij de mensheid vroeg op welke manier zij dan voor Hem een huis zou kunnen bouwen.
Zo zegt יהוה (Jehovah): “De hemel is Mijn troon, en de aarde is mijn voetenbank. Waar ligt dit huis dat je bouwt voor mij? En waar is deze plaats van Mijn rust? “En al deze hebben Mijn hand gemaakt, en al deze die er bestaan,” verklaart יהוה. “Maar tot zo iemand kijk Ik: naar hem die arm is en gekneusd van geest en wie voor mijn woord beeft. (Jesaja 66:1-2 De Gechriften 1998 +)
Jehovah moet in staat zijn om het huis te zien dat we bouwen voor Hem. Niet alleen moeten we het woord van Adonai Jehovah, de Allerhoogste, horen en beven voor Zijn woord, we moeten ervoor zorgen dat Zijn Woord bekend zal worden over de hele wereld, zodat de Elohim Hashem Adonai verheerlijkt mag worden, zodat we God Zijn vreugde kunnen zien, maar ook hun schaamte.
“Hoor het Woord van יהוה (Jehovah), gij, die voor Zijn woord beeft:” Uw broeders die u haten, die ulieden uitstoten ter wille van mijn naam, zei: “Laat יהוה worden geacht, zodat we uw vreugde mogen zien. Maar zij tot schaamte zijn gebracht. “(Jesaja 66:5 De Gechriften 1998 +)
Wij mogen de zekerheid hebben dat God zal kijken naar iedere man die bereid is om te leren over de Allerhoogste God, zelfs naar hem die arm en verslagen van geest is, en beeft bij Gods Woord ” (Jesaja 66: 2).
De apostel Paulus zegt in zijn waarschuwing aan de oudsten van Efeze waakzaam te zijn: “En nu, broeders, ik verplicht u tot Elohim en het woord van Zijn gunst, dat is u op te bouwen en je een erfdeel te geven onder al diegene die apart zijn gezet. (Handelingen 20:32 De Geschriften 1998 +)
De Heilige Schrift vertelt ons dat we er zeker van mogen zijn dat we kunnen leren en dat die woorden ons niet alleen kunnen stichten maar ook helpen om ons verder op te bouwen, en ons een erfdeel te geven onder allen, die geheiligd worden. Want wij als christenen moeten medewerkers zijn van Elohim, we moeten het veld van Elohim zijn, het gebouw van Jehovah God. (1 Korintiërs 3:9)
“Wij zijn Gods medearbeiders; gij zijt Gods akker, Gods bouwwerk.” (1 Corinthiërs 3:9 CANIS)
“Hij die naar beneden ging is ook degene die ging ver boven alle hemelen, om alle te vullen. En Hij heeft sommigen als gezanten, en weer anderen als profeten, en sommigen als evangelisten, en sommigen als herders en leraren voor het perfectioneren van de apart geplaatsten, tot het werk van dienst aan een opbouw van het lichaam van de Messias, totdat wij allen komen tot de eenheid van het geloof en van de kennis van de Zoon van Elohim, tot een volkomen mens, tot de mate van de grootte van de volledigheid van de Messias, zodat we niet langer kinderen hoeven te zijn, heen en weer gegooid en gedragen door elke wind van leer, door het valse spel der mensen, in slimheid, tot de sluwheid van de meest vooraanstaande dwalen, {1 Voetnoot: 15:6, ook 2 Kor. 10:05, 2 Kor. 11:3-14, Gal. 1:6-9, 2 Tim. 3:1-8, 2 Tim. 4:2-4, 2 Peter 2:2-22, Jud. vv. 10-19}. maar, de waarheid in liefde handhavend, groeien we in alle opzichten in hem, die het hoofd is, Messias, van wie het hele lichaam, aangesloten en samen gebreid is door wat elk gewricht voorziet, volgens de werking, waardoor elk deel zijn aandeel heeft , ervoor zorgt dat er groei van het lichaam voor de opbouw van zichzelf in de liefde is. Dus dit zeg ik, en getuig ik in de Meester, dat je niet meer moet lopen als de heidenen wandelen, {1} in de futiliteit van hun geest, {Voetnoot: 2 Cor. 12:2, en Jer. 10:02}. te zijn verduisterd in hun verstand, die is vervreemd van het leven van de Elohim, als gevolg van de onwetendheid die in hen is, vanwege de hardheid van hun hart, die, nadat zij ongevoelig zijn geworden, zich overgegeven hebben aan onfatsoenlijkheid, om alle onreinheid uit te oefenen met hebzucht. Maar je hebt Messias niet zo geleerd, als je inderdaad Hem gehoord hebt en werd onderwezen door hem, als de waarheid is in יהושע (Jeshua): dat je af zet – ten aanzien van uw vroegere manier van leven – de oude man, dat beschadigd geworden volgens de wensen van het bedrog, en vernieuwd moet worden in de geest van uw denken, en dat je de vernieuwde man aandoet {1} die werd opgericht op basis van Elohim, in gerechtigheid en apart gestelde van de waarheid. {Voetnoot: 1Rom. 08:01}. Er is “waarheid in Jezus” die het Woord van God bij ons bracht. Na de dag van de wraak van Christus zal het leed van Israël worden omgezet in overvloedige vreugde. Alle gespaarde heidenen zullen zich verheugen in hun redding. Alle volken zullen opkijken naar de heerlijkheid van God, zoals het schijnt in het gelaat van Christus, de Koning, en de aanbidding zal zorgvuldig en voortdurend bijgewoond worden door alle volkeren van de aarde.
Vandaag kunnen we kennis nemen van wat er gebeurt in het Midden-Oosten en met grote belangstelling kijken we naar de voorzienigheid van God voor de Joden, in de wetenschap dat hun terugkeer naar hun land een voorbereiding is op de vervulling van veel profetieën, een teken van de aanpak van het einde van de tijd en de komst van Christus. “Kom, Heer Jezus.”
Wanneer de Tijden dichter bij de Eindtijd komen zal het ons niet gemakkelijker maken, maar we kunnen er zeker van zijn dat wij de zegeningen over ons zullen kunnen vinden aan het eind.
“En inderdaad, al die wensen eerbiedig te leven in de Messias יהושע (Jeshua), zullen worden vervolgd {1 Voetnoot:. 1Mt. 5:10}. Maar slechte mensen en bedriegers zullen doorgaan tot het ergste, {1} doen dwalen en op een dwaalspoor gebracht worden. {Voetnoot: 1Mt. 24:12, Openbaring 22:11}. Maar u, blijf in wat je hebt geleerd en vertrouwde, geweten te hebben van wie je hebt geleerd, en dat van een babie die je gekend hebt de apart geplaatste Geschriften, die in staat zijn om u wijs te maken voor verlossing door het geloof in de Messias יהושע. Geheel de Schrift wordt ingeademd door de Elohim en is winstgevend voor het onderwijs, tot wederlegging, tot het instellen van recht, tot rechtvaardigheid, opdat de mens van Elohim zou kunnen worden uitgerust, toegerust tot elk goed werk. “(2 Timotheüs 3:12-17 De Geschriften 1998 +)
“Betrouwbaar is het woord: Want indien wij stierven met hem, zullen wij ook met hem leven.” (2 Timotheüs 2:11 De Geschriften 1998 +)
“Verkondig het Woord! Wees dringend in het seizoen, buiten het seizoen. Berisp, {1} waarschuw, verzoek {of doe beroep op}, met alle geduld en onderwijs. {Voetnoot: 1 of: weerleg, of bewijs hun ongelijk. ” (2 Timotheüs 4:2 De Geschriften 1998 +)
Vanaf het moment dat we de mogelijkheid kunnen krijgen om het Woord van God te leren beginnen we als baby’s en zouden wij moeten popelen om meer te leren als kind, te merken dat de Heilige Schrift, in staat is om ons wijs te maken tot zaligheid, door het geloof in Christus Jezus. Het 16e vers van 2 Timotheüs kan ofwel worden vertaald “Elk Schrift is door God geïnspireerd en is nuttig bij het onderwijs” of “Elk Schrift door God geïnspireerd is nuttig voor het onderwijs”, maar in beide gevallen wordt de inspiratie van de Schrift aangenomen, de schrijver die tevreden is om zijn verschillende toepassingen aan te geven. De belangrijkste wijsheid komt van de Heilige Schrift, die ons in staat stelt om ons wijs te maken tot zaligheid. Op zich, zegt de Bijbel ons niet te redden – maar het is alleen door de Bijbel dat wij Gods waarheid over Jezus kunnen ontvangen en geloof in hem kunnen stellen.
Geheel de Heilige Schrift is door God ingegeven, en is nuttig tot lering, tot wederlegging, tot verbetering, tot onderwijzing in rechtvaardigheid, opdat de mens Gods volmaakt zij, volkomen toegerust tot alle goed werk.
Het is het Woord van God dat dan de mogelijkheid heeft om ons op te bouwen, ons wijs te maken tot zaligheid en onze zielen te redden.
Er zijn belangrijke gebeurtenissen in de bediening van Jezus, die Matteüs, Marcus en Lukas optekenen maar door Johannes zijn weg gelaten, met inbegrip van Jezus ‘geboorte, doop, verzoeking in de woestijn, het Laatste Avondmaal, de lijdensweg in Gethsemane, de Hemelvaart, demonische confrontaties, en gelijkenissen. Maar Johannes schijnt een extra dimensie te geven aan het Woord dat vlees geworden is en waar wij zijn heerlijkheid in hoeven te aanschouwen, van de enig geboren Zoon van de Vader, vol van genade en waarheid. (Johannes 1: 14). Hier is degene die zei: “Zie, Ik kom (in het volume van het boek is geschreven over mij), om uw wil te doen, o God.” (Hebreeën 10: 7).
De Messias, Christus, de Verlosser van de zonde, wordt voorgesteld als diegene die zichzelf aanbiedt zichzelf opofferend aan de wil van God (tou poiēsai to Thelema sou) . En als we als Christus zouden willen zijn, moeten we ons aanbod of offer ook zo goed als we kunnen moeten brengen. We zullen ons ook vol overgave aan God Zijn wil moeten overgeven.
We kunnen niet het diepe spirituele inzicht verkrijgen dat Jezus had in het Woord, toch, wij, als we een deel van hem horen te zijn, moeten wij deze woorden proberen en toepassen op ons eigen leven. Jezus gaf ons de bekende gelijkenis van de zaaier, die voor ons is opgetekend in Mattheus hoofdstuk 13, Lukas hoofdstuk 8. De details zijn ons wel bekend, het gaat niet alleen over de ontvangst die mensen geven aan Gods Woord, maar ook over de receptie dier er wordt gegeven aan hem, die het Woord is. Als Jezus werkelijk is in ons hart is, dan straalt het evangelie van ons af. “Hoe liefelijk zijn de voeten van hen die het evangelie van de vrede prediken en de blijde boodschap van goede dingen” (Romeinen 10: 15).
Sprekend over de discipelen zegt Jezus in zijn gebed tot zijn Vader “Ze zijn niet van de wereld … Heilig ze in Uw waarheid: Uw woord is de waarheid.” (Johannes 17: 16, 17).

Het Nieuwe Testament vormt een aanvulling op het Oude Testament, waarin de toekomst werd voorspeld die kwam aan het bestaan in de aanwezigheid van Christus Jezus. Van Genesis af was er de belofte van de een die zou komen om een einde te maken aan de dood. In de andere boeken werd er vele malen verwezen naar de in de Tuin van Eden gedane belofte van een te komen Verlosser. Jezus is in het centrum van de oude geschriften. Het gaat over hem en ons heil in hem, als we onze ogen niet openen om dit te zien, zal de Bijbel een gesloten boek blijven.
Laten we moed opbrengen en een beetje meer tijd bestedenin het lezen en het toepassen van het woord in ons leven. Zo kunnen we net als Jozua en Kaleb er zeker van zijn dat de Heer in ons genoegen zal nemen en ons de erfenis zal geven die Hij heeft beloofd aan iedereen die Hem liefhebben want wij hebben het woord met vreugde ontvangen.

The Importance Of Scripture
Lots of people do laugh at those who enjoy reading the old Books of Books, the Bible. Of all those books the last series bring the world Glad Tidings. In the New testament we also do find the apostle Luke his writings on the first followers of Christ. He gives us an idea what went on in the first communities of the then called sect The Way.
Of the New Testament readings the Acts of the Apostles brings before us how the gospel spread from Jerusalem to Rome from Jew to Gentile. Luke begins and ends with his thoughts on The Kingdom of Godand gives us with the later convert Paul an idea of what beautifuls is laid in front of us.

The man they followed, was a prophet of God who came to this world to make every thing more clear. Jesus from Nazareth wanted us to get to know the Creator in the best way we could. For this great teacher from such a small place, not only he had to go out into the world to proclaim the marvellous news of what was going to be accomplished by the Will of God. For Jeshua it was clear, those who wanted to follow him, had to recognise the Will of the Father and should have as their main aim of the preaching of the gospel.
Today that is still not changed. Those who call themselves Christian, which should mean that they are real followers of Christ Jesus, should spread the word of the Gospel. They should tell others of the good news concerning the things of The Kingdom.
“In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Grecian Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, “It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables.” (Acts 6:1-2 NIV)
As for the twelve who summoned the whole body of the disciples together, we as an ecclesia should also call each other and say, “It is not right that we should have to neglect preaching the Word of God in order to look after the accounts.” We also should take care that we can grow in the word of God and that we can be of good reputation, being both practical and spiritually-minded. As individuals but also as one community of fellow brothers and sisters we should devote ourselves whole-heartedly to prayer and the ministry of the Word.
It may be alarming when we see how the world develops, but on the other hand it may be lovely that we can notice that we are nearing a special time, which has been long foretold. We also come to a time were many have lost the faith in the Word of God, and many do not want to know anything about a god, or a better way to live. Though many may put the Word of God aside we can find others who are eagerly looking for the Truth and are wiling to take time to get to know it. Those who are looking for the purpose of this life and for whom is behind it are the ones who want to take up the Bible to study it. So the Word of God can gain more and more ground. In the world we can see that the number of disciples greatly increases. As in the old times we sometimes do have to start from scratch, not finding any believer round ourselves; but by letting the fire in us shine we can be the light for others. By our enthusiasm we can spread the good feeling of this Good News.
Though most of the world might not be interested in God and His Word, the Word of the Lord continues to gain ground and increase its influence. (Acts 12:24) “Thus mightily did the Lord’s Message spread and triumph!” (Acts 19:20 Wey)
We have the responsibility to let the word of God increase. Constantly we are told that the main vehicle used to bring the gospel to others was the Word. For example we read in Acts 4 : 31 that the apostles “Spoke the Word of God with boldness.” Of those who took hold of the message it says, chapter 8 : 14 “They received the word of God.”
Having chosen to be followers of Christ we also should be “in Christ” and try to become “like Christ”. As Christians we should give ourselves to Christ Jesus and should as such belong to Him who is the word made flesh. The ramification of this is very sobering, to become part of Jesus means that our lives must be like his, enveloped in the Word. Jesus was the man who brought Gods Word close to all people, believers and non-believers, Jews and gentiles.
Jesus made it very clear we had to live according to the Spirit of the Law and therefore we should live the Word of God. Every act we do should be under the guidance of the God most High. Every word we utter should be in respect to every creation of the Almighty. The many Books God has provided to the public are not just letters on a piece of paper to the enjoyment of reading. the Words from the paper have to go into the blood of the reader. They should enter the brain and become a living part of it.
When we go out into the world we should breath the Word of God. In everything we do people should notice something special, which make the difference between a good heathen or gentile and a Christian. The gospel is preached at its best when it is being lived.
When others can look on us and say that they have been with a follower of Jesus and could witness this Jesus from long ago in the world of today. We should be able to give the others a feeling that they might have learned something of him. To do this we must allow our minds to be developed by God’s Word. The carnal mind, or the mind of the flesh is something that by nature we possess. The mind of the spirit can only be obtained by grafting into it scripture. The importance of the Word of God in our lives cannot be underestimated.
“Thus saith Jehovah, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: what manner of house will ye build unto me? and what place shall be my rest? For all these things hath my hand made, and [so] all these things came to be, saith Jehovah: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembleth at my word.” (Isaiah 66:1-2 ASV)
Jehovah should be able to see the house that we have build unto Him. Not only should we hear the word of Adonai Jehovah, the most High, and tremble at His word, we should make sure that His Word shall be known all over the world so that the Elohim Hashem Adonai may be glorified, so we can see God His joy, but also their shame.
“Hear the Word of יהוה (Jehovah), you who tremble at His Word, “Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for My Name’s sake, said, ‘Let יהוה be esteemed, so that we see your joy.’ But they are put to shame.” (Isaiah 66:5 The Scriptures 1998+)
We may have the assurance that God shall look at every man who is willing to learn about the Most High God, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at Gods word.” (Isaiah 66 : 2).
The Apostle Paul says in his warning to the Ephesian elders to be watchful (Acts 20 : 32) “And now, brothers, I commit you to Elohim and to the word of His favour, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those having been set apart. (Acts 20:32 The Scriptures 1998+)
The Holy Scriptures tell us that we may be sure that we can learn from it and that those words can not only edify us but also build us up, and give us an inheritance among all them that are sanctified. For we as Christians should be fellow workers of Elohim, we should be the field of Elohim, the building of Elohim. (1 Corinthians 3:9)
“He who went down is also the One who went up far above all the heavens, to fill all. And He Himself gave some as emissaries, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds and teachers for the perfecting of the set-apart ones, to the work of service to a building up of the body of the Messiah, until we all come to the unity of the belief and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the completeness of Messiah, so that we should no longer be children, tossed and borne about by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men, in cleverness, unto the craftiness of leading astray,{1 Footnote: 15:6, also 2 Cor. 10:5, 2 Cor. 11:3-14, Gal. 1:6-9, 2 Tim. 3:1-8, 2 Tim. 4:2-4, 2 Peter 2:2-22, Jud. vv. 10-19}. but, maintaining the truth in love, we grow up in all respects into Him who is the head, Messiah, from whom the entire body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the working by which each part does its share, causes growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk,1 in the futility of their mind, {Footnote: 11 Cor. 12:2, and Jer. 10:2}. having been darkened in their understanding, having been estranged from the life of Elohim, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart, who, having become callous, have given themselves up to indecency, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Messiah, if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as truth is in יהושע (Jeshua): that you put off – with regard to your former way of life – the old man, being corrupted according to the desires of the deceit, and to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the renewed man1 which was created according to Elohim, in righteousness and set-apartness of the truth. {Footnote: 1Rom. 8:1}. There is “truth in Jesus” who brought the Word of God to us. Following the day of Christ’s vengeance the sorrows of Israel will be turned into abundant joys. All the Gentiles spared shall rejoice in her salvation. All nations will look upon the glory of God as it shines in the face of Christ, the King, and worship will be carefully and constantly attended upon by all the peoples of the earth.
Today we can take notice of what is happening in the Middle East and with great interest we look at the providences of God towards the Jews, knowing that their return to their land is a preparation for the fulfilment of much prophecy, a sign of the approach of the close of the age and Christ’s coming. “Come, Lord Jesus.”
Times coming closer to the Endtimes shall not make it easier for us, but we may be sure se shall find the blessings at the end.
“And indeed, all those wishing to live reverently in Messiah יהושע, shall be persecuted.{1 Footnote: 1Mt. 5:10}. But evil men and impostors shall go on to the worse,{1} leading astray and being led astray. {Footnote: 1Mt. 24:12, Rev. 22:11}. But you, stay in what you have learned and trusted, having known from whom you have learned, and that from a babe you have known the Set-apart Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for deliverance through belief in Messiah יהושע. All Scripture is breathed by Elohim and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for setting straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of Elohim might be fitted, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:12-17 The Scriptures 1998+)
From the moment we can get the possibility to learn the Word of God we start as babies and should be eager to learn more as a child, noticing that the Holy Scriptures, are able to make us wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus. The 16th verse of 2 Timothy may be translated either Every Scripture is inspired of God and is profitable for teaching or Every Scripture inspired of God is profitable for teaching, but in either case the inspiration of Scripture is assumed, the writer being content to indicate its various uses. The most important wisdom comes from the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation. In and of itself, the Bible does not save us – but it is only through the Bible that we can receive God’s truth about Jesus, and put faith in him.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
It is the Word of God that has then the ability to build us up, to make us wise unto salvation and save our souls. Let us take an example from the nation of Israel to illustrate these principles.
In Numbers chapter 13 the record tells us that the children of Israel came to the borders of their inheritance, Moses instructed them to select a man from each tribe to spy out the land. Ten of them brought an evil report whilst Joshua and Caleb brought a good report. In the report that the ten brought we read these words (Numbers 13 : 31) “But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” In contrast to these words Caleb had said (Numbers 13 : 30) “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” We know that the congregation of Israel accepted the evil report rather than that of Joshua and Caleb. In Hebrews chapter 4 the reason for this failure is given. (Hebrews 4 : 2) “For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith.” They failed to believe in the word of God, to allow it to envelope their lives and it resulted in them failing to enter the land of promise. They were not aware that “the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword … and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” and that all things “are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4 : 12, 13). They wanted to return to Egypt for that is where their heart was. They could remember all the fleshly things they had there (see Numbers 11 : 4 – 6) yet failed to remember the deliverance out of the house of bondage, the provision of food and water, the assurance of God’s presence in the pillar of cloud and fire. The confidence of Joshua and Caleb is seen in the words Caleb spoke to the people. “We are well able” and in chapter 14 : 8 “If the LORD delight in us, he will bring us into this land.” This belief came from a firm conviction in what God had promised he was able also to perform. There was nothing magical about their faith. Faith is developed by a reading and meditating on the Word of Life.
There are significant events in the ministry of Jesus that Matthew, Mark, and Luke include that John leaves out, including Jesus’ birth, baptism, temptation in the wilderness, the Last Supper, the agony in Gethsemane, the Ascension, demonic confrontations, and parables. But John seems to five an extra dimension on the Word which has become flesh in we do have to behold his glory, as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1 : 14). Here is the one who said “Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me), to do thy will, O God.” (Hebrews 10 : 7).

The Messiah, Christ, the Redeemer from sin, is represented as offering himself to do God’s will (tou poiēsai to thelēma sou, the genitive articular infinitive of purpose). and when we would like to be Christ we should also bring our offering as good as we can. We also should completely surrendered to God His will.
We cannot have the deep spiritual insight that Jesus had in the Word, nevertheless, we, if we are to be part of him, must try and apply these words to our own lives. Jesus gave us the well-known parable of the sower which is recorded for us in Matthew chapter 13; Luke chapter 8. The details are well known to us, it is not only about the reception that people give to God’s Word but also of the reception they give to Him who is the Word. When Jesus is truly in our hearts then the gospel shines from us. “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10 : 15).
Speaking of the disciples Jesus says in his prayer to his Father “They are not of the world … Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17 : 16, 17).
The New Testament complements the Old testament, in which the future was foretold which came to existence in the presence of Christ Jesus. From Genesis onward there was the promise of the one to come to make an end to death. In the other books many times Jesus is in the centre of the Old Writings and are about him and our salvation in him, if we are not opening our eyes to see this, the Bible will continue to remain a closed book.
Let us take courage and spend a little more time in reading and applying the word in our lives. This way we can like Joshua and Caleb be sure that the Lord will delight in us and will give us the inheritance he has promised to those that love him for we have received the word with joy.

Around the world, prophetic people are struggling to fit what God is showing them into an eschatology that simply doesn’t work, because it is based on a false premise, and a misinterpretation of this passage of scripture, amongst others. And when we look at eschatology, the study of the last things, it is all about Jesus. It’s not about us, it’s not about the church, it’s not about the world – it’s about Jesus. We read in Ephesians 3:10 ‘…that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church…’. I love that word ‘manifold’, because it means multi-coloured and multi-faceted , all expressing who God is: all expressing the wonderful wisdom of God. Being made known through… us, through the church. Being made known to whom? ‘… to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. In St. Luke’s Gospel, the 24th Chapter, Jesus once again links His Word and His work to the Old Testament. Significantly, Jesus once again confesses and testifies that the Old Testament finds its fulfillment in Him.

The Old Testament together mightily witnesses of the Coming One. The individual references in the Old Testament do not give the entire picture of the Messiah as do the Gospels, but they do point to Him and in Christ they find their fulfillment.

Many Christians may get offended when I highlight the disparities between the church I see today and the church that was evident in scriptures.

There are various brands of Christianity, or “Churchianity” to put it more correctly, today with each declaring that they have the true gospel. The naïve and the simple-minded will however declare that all churches are the same despite not understanding that there is a gulf of difference between the various versions of what they claim is the truth. Perhaps the god of this world has blinded their eyes to the truth such that they are not able to glean the fact that there is only one truth and that two or more contrary positions cannot all be truth at the same time. The world in its own wisdom would never understand or seek God (Rom. 3:11) but always suppress or distort the truth in unrighteousness (Rom. 1:18, 21). God’s people must not submit to uninspired words of men. “Thus says Jehovah of hosts, Hearken not unto the word of the prophets… speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Jehovah” (Jer. 23:16). Jesus Christ received of the spirit of His Father to over flow without measure and to whomsoever He wills He will give of that spirit. It is a mystery to us human that the same spirit of God was given to Christ in its fullness without limitation and yet God is not diminished in His essence and power.

Christ was full of the spirit of God and He was led by the same into the wilderness to face the enemy. He survived the ordeal through the spirit of God and we can too if we trust and depend on God’s spirit to show us the plans of our Father. The Bible is a progressive revelation. If you skip the first half of any good book and try to finish it, you will have a hard time understanding the characters, the plot, and the ending. The New Testament is only completely understood when it is seen as being built upon the foundation of the events, characters, laws, sacrificial system, prophecies, covenants, and promises of the Old Testament. In this manner all of Old Testament history was a learning or training period to prepare the world for the arrival of Jesus Christ and His role in the plane of redemption.
Pas une Trinité mais un seul Dieu
Icône dite de la Trinité d’Andrei Roublev. Il s’agit des trois hommes apparus à Abraham au Chêne de Mambré Gn 18 que Roublev, à la suite des Pères de l’Église, interprète comme une figure du mystère de la Trinité indivisible.
Il y a une théologie chrétienne qui a développé la conception d’un Dieu trinitaire : un Dieu unique en trois aspects (hypostases) : le Père, le Fils (La Parole) et le Saint-Esprit, égaux, participant d’une même essence (consubstantialité ou homoousia) et pourtant fondamentalement distincts.
Refuser ou négliger de «connaître Dieu», c’est risquer le jugement, mais il y en a beaucoup dés gens qui ne pense pas trop à Dieu, le Père et le fils. La plupart de nos contemporains, même de ceux qui se disent chrétiens, affichent une indifférence extraordinaire pour le sujet de la Trinité. Ils croient assez vaguement au dogme de la « trinité », selon lequel Dieu est trois personnes — Dieu le Père, Dieu le Fils et Dieu le Saint-Esprit — et en même temps une seule. Ce dogme veut que le Fils ait préexisté au ciel avant sa naissance de la vierge Marie, qu’il y ait même une identité absolue d’espèce et de durée entre Dieu le Père et Christ le Fils; qu’il y ait non seulement égalité de durée mais aussi de puissance entre ces trois personnes.
Mais la Bible garde un silence absolu sur ce dogme compliqué. Le mot « trinité » ne s’y rencontre point, ni les principes du dogme non plus. Il faut dire même que l’enseignement de la Bible à propos de Dieu, de Jésus-Christ et du Saint-Esprit paraît être tout à fait contraire aux idées « trinitaires ». Si les principes de ce dogme sont vrais, et indispensables même pour le salut, comme l’affirment la plupart des églises orthodoxes, n’est-il pas incroyable que la Bible non seulement les laisse douteux, sans les préciser en aucune façon, mais qu’elle enseigne même des principes contraires?

L’ apôtre Paul a précisé : “ Pour nous il y a réellement un seul Dieu le Père ” et “ il y a un seul Seigneur, Jésus Christ ”. (1 Corinthiens 8:5, 6).
Le mot ‘dieu’ étais appliqué à des hommes avec une position hautes, comme aux anges et aussi des juges et bien sur il concerne aussi Jésus. Alors on a le mot dieu qui peu s’applique aussi bien a des humains qu’a des êtres spirituels. Le mot ‘dieu’ n’est qu’un titre tout comme Seigneur. Satan est aussi appeler dieu est aussi un majucule selon la bible Martin.
Aussi le mot ‘Èlohim’ est appliqué à Jéhovah, le vrai Dieu, mais aussi à de faux dieux, tels le dieu philistin Dagôn (Jg 16:23, 24 ; 1S 5:7) et le dieu assyrien Nisrok (2R 19:37). Un Hébreu ne pouvait manifestement se contenter de dire à un Philistin ou à un Assyrien qu’il adorait “ Dieu [Èlohim] ” pour identifier le Personnage à qui allait son culte.
Le nom du Dieu d’Israël et de Juda apparaît plus de 7 000 fois dans la Bible hébraïque sous la forme du Tétragramme יהוה, c’est-à-dire YHWH = Jéhovah. Ce nom est aussi attesté, sous une forme incomplète (Jah), dans un grand nombre d’anthroponymes. Il provient de la racine hébraïque HWH/HYH, verbe qui signifie « être » ou “devenir”. (la Tob a des préjugés contre le nom de Dieu la preuve le tétragramme n’apparaît pas dans cette version. Le nom de Dieu {Jéhovah}, Yahweh ou Yahwoh n’apparait que dans les notes marginales)
Èlohim ou Élohim (hébreu ‘elohim) ou Éloïm (hébreu ‘elohim) Pluriel de ‘éloha, qui signifie « Dieu ».
On trouve ce mot dans la Bible et aussi dans les textes babyloniens d’Amarna.

Dans ses articles consacrés à Jéhovah, The Imperial Bible-Dictionary illustre éloquemment la différence entre ʼÈlohim (Dieu) et Jéhovah. On y lit concernant le nom Jéhovah :
“ Il s’agit partout d’un nom propre, qui désigne le Dieu personnel et lui seul ; tandis qu’Èlohim tient plus du nom commun, désignant habituellement, il est vrai, le Suprême, mais pas nécessairement ni uniformément. [...] Un Hébreu parlera peut-être du Èlohim, du vrai Dieu, par opposition avec tous les faux dieux ; mais il ne parlera jamais du Jéhovah, car Jéhovah est le nom du vrai Dieu uniquement. Il dira fréquemment mon Dieu [...] ; mais jamais mon Jéhovah, car quand il dit mon Dieu il veut dire Jéhovah. Il parlera du Dieu d’Israël, mais jamais du Jéhovah d’Israël, car il n’y a pas d’autre Jéhovah. Cela est vrai également du terme grec signifiant Dieu, Théos. Il était attribué indifféremment au vrai Dieu et à des dieux païens comme Zeus et Hermès (Jupiter et Mercure chez les Romains) (voir Ac 14:11-15). Les paroles de Paul en 1 Corinthiens 8:4-6 établissent la réalité : “ Car, bien qu’il y ait ceux qu’on appelle ‘ dieux ’, soit au ciel, soit sur la terre, tout comme il y a beaucoup de ‘ dieux ’ et beaucoup de ‘ seigneurs ’, pour nous il y a réellement un seul Dieu le Père, de qui toutes choses sont, et nous pour lui. ” La croyance en de nombreux dieux, qui impose de distinguer le vrai Dieu des autres, s’est perpétuée jusqu’au XXe siècle.
“Pour ce qui regarde donc de manger des choses sacrifiées aux idoles, nous savons que l’idole n’est rien au monde, et qu’il n’y a aucun autre Dieu qu’un seul ; Car encore qu’il y en ait qui soient appelés dieux, soit au ciel, soit en la terre (comme il y a plusieurs dieux, et plusieurs Seigneurs,) Nous n’avons pourtant qu’un seul Dieu, {qui est} le Père ; duquel {sont} toutes choses, et nous en lui ; et un seul Seigneur Jésus-Christ, par lequel {sont} toutes choses, et nous par lui.” (1 Corinthiens 8:4-6 Mar)
“Et les gens qui étaient là assemblés, ayant vu ce que Paul avait fait, élevèrent leur voix, disant en Langue Lycaonienne : les dieux s’étant faits semblables aux hommes, sont descendus vers nous. Et ils appelaient Barnabas Jupiter, et Paul Mercure, parce que c’était lui qui portait la parole. Et même le Sacrificateur de Jupiter, qui était devant leur ville, ayant amené des taureaux couronnés jusqu’à l’entrée de la porte, voulait leur sacrifier avec la foule. “Desquels le Dieu de ce siècle a aveuglé les entendements, {c’est-à-dire}, des incrédules, afin que la lumière de l’Évangile de la gloire de Christ, lequel est l’image de Dieu, ne leur resplendît point.” (2 Corinthiens 4:4 Mar)
Les juifs accusaient Jésus de se faire dieu, c’est à dire parmi les dieux reconnu des juifs. Or Jésus n’était pas reconnu par les juifs étant de “ces dieux là” et voulaient lapider Jésus pour blasphème. Mais Jésus démonte leur raisonnement en leur démontrant que leur loi ne demande pas de prouver qu’un homme fait parti “des dieux” en le prouvant par les œuvres, puisque les juifs accusaient Jésus de faire des œuvres en ce sens. Or Jésus atteste une nouvelle foi qu’il fait ses œuvres au nom de son père qui est Dieu pas aux nom “des dieux”. Ainsi Jésus démontre que même si les juifs ne croient pas aux œuvres de Jésus pour prouver qu’il est le fils de Dieu, il sont bien obligé de croire que les œuvres que Jésus a fait prouve qu’il ne vient pas “des dieux”, et s’il ne vient pas “des dieux” les juifs sont donc obligés de constater que Jésus vient de Dieu.
“Jésus leur répondit : n’est-il pas écrit en votre Loi : j’ai dit : vous êtes des dieux ; Si elle a {donc} appelé dieux ceux à qui la parole de Dieu est adressée ; et {cependant} l’Ecriture ne peut être anéantie ; Dites-vous que je blasphème, moi que le Père a sanctifié, et qu’il a envoyé au monde, parce que j’ai dit : je suis le Fils de Dieu ? Si je ne fais pas les œuvres de mon Père, ne me croyez point. Mais si je les fais, et que vous ne vouliez pas me croire, croyez à ces œuvres ; afin que vous connaissiez et que vous croyiez que le Père est en moi, et moi en lui.” (Jean 10:34-38 Mar)

On trouve les dieux des gens, comme Elvis, Maradonna et autres, mais aussi Jésus et le plus grands des dieux, le seul souvereign: Dieu des dieux: YHWH: Jehovah.
Cette Grand Dieu des dieux est esprit, qui est le vrais Dieu et Créateur.
Le vrai Dieu n’est pas un Dieu anonyme ; son nom est Jéhovah (Dt 6:4 ; Ps 83:18). Il est Dieu du fait qu’il est le Créateur (Gn 1:1 ; Ré 4:11). Le vrai Dieu est bien réel et ce n’est pas lui qui est venu, mais Lui qui à envoyer son fils (Jn 7:28) ; c’est une personne (Ac 3:19 ; Hé 9:24) et non une loi naturelle inerte opérant sans législateur vivant, ni une force aveugle fonctionnant par une succession de hasards pour produire une chose ou une autre.
Il y a un seul Dieu; “la trinité” est de paganisme et adoptée dans “l’église”. L’ Israël était unique entre les nations. Tandis que les gens d’eux avaient une multiplicité de dieux, l’ Israël a été ordonné:
“ Écoute, ô Israël ! Jéhovah notre Dieu est un seul Jéhovah.
Tu dois aimer Jéhovah ton Dieu de tout ton cœur, et de toute ton âme, et de toute ta force vitale.
Ces paroles que je t’ordonne aujourd’hui devront être sur ton cœur ;
il faudra que tu les inculques à ton fils et que tu en parles quand tu seras assis dans ta maison et quand tu marcheras sur la route, quand tu te coucheras et quand tu te lèveras.Tu devras les attacher comme un signe sur ta main, et elles devront servir de fronteau entre tes yeux ; tu devras les écrire sur les montants de porte de ta maison et sur tes portes.” (Deutéronome 6: 4-9 Les Saintes Écritures — Traduction du monde nouveau)
Dieu a témoigné aussi- ““Je suis l’Eternel, et il n’y en a point d’autre ; il n’y a point de Dieu que moi. Je t’ai ceint, quoique tu ne me connusses point.” (Esaïe 45:5 Mar)
Sauf Elohim Hashem Jehovah il n’y a aucun dieu.
“pour qu’on sache que toi, dont le nom est Jéhovah, tu es, toi seul, le Très-Haut sur toute la terre !” (Psaumes 83:18 MN)
“ Tu es digne, Jéhovah, oui notre Dieu, de recevoir la gloire et l’honneur et la puissance, parce que tu as créé toutes choses, et à cause de ta volonté elles ont existé et ont été créées. ” (Révélation 4:11 MN)
Une citation significative par Jésus Christ montre il ne s’est pas considéré comme la partie d’ “une trinité”. Il a cité Deutéronome 6v4 (au-dessus):
“Et quelqu’un des Scribes qui les avait ouïs disputer, voyant qu’il leur avait bien répondu, s’approcha de lui, et lui demanda : quel est le premier de tous les Commandements ? Et Jésus lui répondit : le premier de tous les Commandements est : écoute Israël, le Seigneur notre Dieu est le seul Seigneur ; Et tu aimeras le Seigneur ton Dieu de tout ton cœur, de toute ton âme, de toute ta pensée, et de toute ta force. C’est là le premier Commandement. Et le second, qui est semblable au premier, est celui-ci : tu aimeras ton prochain comme toi-même. Il n’y a point d’autre Commandement plus grand que ceux-ci. Et le Scribe lui dit : Maître, tu as bien dit selon la vérité, qu’il y a un seul Dieu, et qu’il n’y en a point d’autre que lui ; Et que de l’aimer de tout son cœur, de toute son intelligence, de toute son âme, et de toute sa force ; et d’aimer son prochain comme soi-même, c’est plus que tous les holocaustes et les sacrifices. Et Jésus voyant que {ce Scribe} avait répondu prudemment, lui dit : tu n’es pas loin du Royaume de Dieu. Et personne n’osait plus l’interroger.” (Marc 12:28-34 Mar)
Jésus ne dis pas que lui est Dieu, mais que le Seigneur le plus haut Jéhovah, notre Dieu, est l’unique Seigneur notre Dieu qui est unique, et qu’il n’y en a point d’autre que lui.
Nous pourrions demander, à propos de ce scribe, recommandé par Christ pour sa compréhension, a fait il croit en un Dieu seul, ou “une trinité”?
Également, le Juif Jésus a témoigné que sont Père est PLUS GRAND QUE lui et qu’il pouvait rein faire sans Lui.
“Vous avez entendu que je vous ai dit : je m’en vais, et je reviens à vous ; si vous m’aimiez, vous seriez certes joyeux de ce que j’ai dit : je m’en vais au Père : car le Père est plus grand que moi.” (Jean 14:28 Mar)
“Et comme il sortait pour se mettre en chemin, un homme accourut, et se mit à genoux devant lui, et lui fit cette demande : Maître qui es bon, que ferai-je pour hériter la vie éternelle ? Et Jésus lui répondit : pourquoi m’appelles-tu bon ? il n’y a nul être qui soit bon que Dieu.” (Marc 10:17-18 Mar)
“ Repentez-vous donc et retournez-vous, pour que vos péchés soient effacés, afin que des époques de rafraîchissement viennent d’ auprès de la personne de Jéhovah et qu’il envoie le Christ qui vous est destiné, Jésus, que le ciel, oui, doit garder jusqu’aux temps du rétablissement de toutes choses dont Dieu a parlé par la bouche de ses saints prophètes des temps anciens. Moïse ou Moussa en effet a dit : ‘ Jéhovah Dieu vous suscitera d’entre vos frères un prophète comme moi. Vous devrez l’écouter selon toutes les choses qu’il vous dira. Oui, toute âme qui n’écoutera pas ce Prophète sera complètement détruite du milieu du peuple. ’ Tous les prophètes, en effet, depuis Samuel et ceux qui ont suivi, tous ceux qui ont parlé, ont aussi annoncé clairement ces jours-là. Où fait l’idée de “la trinité” de la “co-égalité” correspond à? La “trinité” de terme n’apparaît pas dans la Bible, mais le concept calcule bien en vue dans les sources païennes,tel que dans Babylone ancienne et sa religion de “mystère”. L’ “église” de apostat est appelée “un mystère: Babylone la grande” (Apocalypse 17v5) et les “ministres” sont sus pour parler de “la trinité” comme un “mystère”. Cette abomination a été finalement définie après des siècles d’argument dans AD381-451.
‘Babylone’ signifie la ‘confusion’, cp Genèse 11v9.
Telles choses ont été prophétisées - Actes 20v28-32,
2 Timothée 4v1-4; Jude – cp 1 Corinthiens 1v17-31.
“Et il y avait sur son front un nom écrit, mystère, la grande Babylone, la mère des impudicités et des abominations de la terre.” (Apocalypse 17:5 Mar)

L’enseignement de “la trinité” exige que ce Jésus Christ s’est dépouillé de sa nature divine et était né sur la terre, et maintenant il a supposé encore l’égalité avec le Père.
Bien, le Paul d’apôtre, qui a écrit par l’esprit de Dieu, et était un vaisseau choisi par Christ se, a témoigné que l’au-dessus proposition est fausse. Il a écrit, long après Jésus est monté au ciel:
“Car il y a un seul Dieu, et un seul Médiateur entre Dieu et les hommes, {savoir} Jésus-Christ homme ;” (1 Timothée 2:5 Mar)
Notez bien l’au-dessus. Oui, Jésus Christ est toujours un homme, cependant, pas mortel , mais immortel. Il a maintenant un corps immortel, lequel est aussi l’espoir de ses disciples aujourd’hui:
“Lequel vint de nuit à Jésus, et lui dit : Maître, nous savons que tu es un Docteur venu de Dieu : car personne ne peut faire les miracles que tu fais, si Dieu n’est avec lui.” (Jean 3:2 Mar)
Las apôtres savent que ils serons comme lui, mais ça ne veut pas dire qu’il venait dieu, ou comme Dieu, parce que c’est COMME LUI: le Jésus.
Même à la fin de l’Age de Royaume de 1000 années sur la terre, quand la gloire et pouvoir de Christ sera à son zénith, il fera toujours n’ EST pas ÉGALER À DIEU.
Jésus ne prends pas soit même, mais remettra le royaume à celui qui est Dieu et Père, après avoir détruit toute domination, toute autorité et toute puissance.
“Et après viendra la fin, quand il aura remis le Royaume à Dieu le Père, et quand il aura aboli tout empire, et toute puissance, et toute force. Car il faut qu’il règne jusqu’à ce qu’il ait mis tous ses ennemis sous ses pieds. L’ennemi qui sera détruit le dernier, c’est la mort. Car {Dieu} a assujetti toutes choses sous ses pieds ; or quand il est dit que toutes choses lui sont assujetties, il est évident que celui qui lui a assujetti toutes choses est excepté. Et après que toutes choses lui auront été assujetties, alors aussi le Fils lui-même sera assujetti à celui qui lui a assujetti toutes choses ; afin que Dieu soit tout en tous.” (1 Corinthiens 15:24-28 Mar)
Alors après Jésus, celui qui lui a soumis toutes choses est excepté. Et lorsque toutes choses lui auront été soumises, ALORS LE FILS LUI-MÊME SERA SOUMIS À CELUI QUI LUI A SOUMIS TOUTES CHOSES, A FIN QUE DIEU SOIT TOUT EN TOUS” -

C’est trais important de savoir les positions de toutes les figures, le Créateur, Dieu le Père, le fils de Dieu (pas dieu le fils), Jésus Christ, les dieux des hommes et savoir le seul Vrai Dieu: Jehovah.
Jésus Christ nous dit: “Et c’est ici la vie éternelle, qu’ils te connaissent seul vrai Dieu, et celui que tu as envoyé, Jésus-Christ.” (Jean 17:3 Mar)

“Car l’Écriture dit : “ Quiconque met sa foi en lui ne sera pas déçu. ” Il n’y a pas en effet de distinction entre Juif et Grec, car il y a le même Seigneur au-dessus de tous, qui est riche pour tous ceux qui l’invoquent. Car “ tout homme qui invoquera le nom de Jéhovah sera sauvé ”. Cependant, comment invoqueront-ils celui en qui ils n’ont pas foi ? Et comment auront-ils foi en celui dont ils n’ont pas entendu parler ? Et comment entendront-ils sans quelqu’un qui prêche ? Et comment prêcheront-ils, à moins qu’ils n’aient été envoyés ? Comme c’est écrit : “ Qu’ils sont jolis les pieds de ceux qui annoncent des bonnes nouvelles de choses bonnes ! ”
Toutefois, tous n’ont pas obéi à la bonne nouvelle. Isaïe dit en effet : “ Jéhovah, qui a ajouté foi à ce qu’il a entendu de nous ? ” Ainsi la foi naît de ce qu’on a entendu. Et ce qu’on a entendu vient par la parole concernant Christ. Toutefois je demande : Ils ont bien entendu, n’est-ce pas ? Mais voyons ! “ par toute la terre est sorti le bruit qu’ils font, et jusqu’aux extrémités de la terre habitée leurs discours ”. Toutefois je demande : Israël l’a bien su, n’est-ce pas ? Tout d’abord Moïse dit : “ J’exciterai votre jalousie par ce qui n’est pas une nation ; j’exciterai votre fureur par une nation stupide. ” Mais Isaïe s’enhardit jusqu’à dire : “ J’ai été trouvé par ceux qui ne me cherchaient pas ; je me suis manifesté à ceux qui ne me demandaient pas. ” Mais au sujet d’Israël il dit : “ Tout au long du jour j’ai étendu mes mains vers un peuple qui est désobéissant et qui réplique. ” (Romains 10:11-21 MN)
Dieu est caractérisé par l’amour, celui pour toutes ses créatures. Dieu aurait pu se contenter d’exister et de ne jamais rien crée mais par amour Il a crée.
Il aurait pu créer des êtres serviles, incapables de désobéir et/ou des être sans émotion et sans sensibilité mais au contraire, par amour Il nous a donné la capacité de nous réjouir, d’aimer, de goûter la vie de mille façons différentes et Il nous a donné un libre arbitre total. L’homme n’est pas guidé par des instincts mais peut faire des choix par lui même.
De plus, par amour pour les humains, après la rébellion d’Adam et Ève, Il les a laissé avoir des enfants alors qu’Il aurait pu les détruire. L’amour de Dieu pour l’humanité implique justement qu’Il intervienne pour éviter que l’humanité n’en vienne à totalement se détruire. Dieu a le pouvoir de pardonner et de donner la vie vraie. Par amour pour les humains Il a prévu une rançon pour notre péché héréditaire en laissant son fils venir sur terre, souffrir et mourir pour nous. Enfin, par amour, Dieu a laissé du temps pour que les humains aient pleinement conscience de leurs erreurs et se tournent vers Lui. Dieu a montré Son amour pour les humains en nous préservant à travers notre ancêtre Noé et que dans le cas de Sodome, de même, Il a montré Sa justice en évitant à Lot et sa famille de périr avec les méchants.
Jésus mis a mort pour nos péchés
Jésus montre clairement en quoi Dieu est bon aussi bien avec les bons qu’avec les méchants : tous les humains bénéficient de la création de Dieu et Dieu aime tous les humains et comme dit Paul : mais il use de patience envers nous, ne voulant point qu’aucun périsse, mais que tous viennent à la repentance. (2 Pierre 3:9) Bible de l’épée. Car Dieu est amour mais Il est aussi sagesse, puissance et justice et Jésus a clairement parlé d’un jugement que ce soit avec ses apôtres pendant son ministère ou dans la vision donnée à Jean.
Comme un père pour ses enfants, nous sommes appelés à être fils de Dieu.
“Le Seigneur ne retarde point {l’exécution de} sa promesse, comme quelques-uns estiment qu’il y ait du retardement, mais il est patient envers nous, ne voulant point qu’aucun périsse, mais que tous se repentent.” (2 Pierre 3:9 Mar)
TOUTES les personnes ayant une bonne connaissance des saintes Écritures savent que Dieu a un nom personnel. Il est vrai que dans la Bible le Créateur est aussi désigné par des titres, tels que “Dieu”, “Seigneur”, “Père”, “Tout-Puissant”, Très-Haut”, etc.. Mais seul son nom personnel et unique résume parfaitement sa personnalité et ses attributs. Dieu dit: “Je suis Jéhovah. C’est là mon nom; et je ne donnerai ma gloire à aucun autre ni ma louange aux images taillées.” (Isaïe 42:8; Ps 83:19)

Mormons again gaining some attention
“There is a good chance that the main way a lot of leaders of the church will respond to the election of a Mormon to the presidency will be to stay as quiet and uninvolved in politics as possible and put as much daylight as possible between that president and the institutional church,” said Russell Arben Fox, a political scientist at Friends University in Wichita, Kan., and a Mormon writer. “They’re a global church and have responsibilities all around the world. For them to appear to be lining up behind a Mormon president and endorsing his policies would just be bad for the church.”
Despite their fears, Mormons acknowledge that Romney’s nomination will be a milestone like none before for the church.
With the American presidential election ahead the Mormons get some more attention because of Mitt Romney, the leading GOP candidate, and Jon Huntsman the second Republican candidate in the 2012 race who happens to be Mormon.
Some think it is Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president and a man who overcame several religious controversies — rumours that he’s a Muslim, concerns about his U.S.-bashing pastor in Chicago — who helped pave the way for nominees of other faiths.
“The American public is more sophisticated regarding religion than the prejudices witnessed from generations long past,” said conservative political commentator Kevin Patrick.

For Huntsman and Romney, their campaigns come at a significant time in public awareness of Mormonism.
On the entertainment front, Broadway’s “The Book of Mormon” and cable TV’s “Big Love” — however distorted their portrayal of the faith — have helped usher Mormonism into the mainstream, observers said.
On the political front, there are 14 Mormon members of Congress, making Washington’s climate hospitable to the idea of a Mormon president — or at least a Mormon GOP nominee.
“Being Mormon is only going to hurt them in a Southern evangelical base vote,” said Republican consultant Mike Edelman, who argued, however, that evangelicals would support Romney or Huntsman over Obama.
One major difference between the two is that Romney this year has shied away from discussing his faith, and Huntsman has insisted it’s just one of several religions that influence his life, fueling speculation that he could be distancing himself from the Church of Latter-Day Saints.
“Huntsman is reflective of contemporary trends in Mormonism,” said Matthew Bowman, associate editor of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought.
Mitt Romney’s emergence as the front-runner for the Republican nomination has been a mixed blessing for Mormons. It has led to unprecedented interest in the Church of Latter-Day Saints or LDS Church and its members, but the dominant image of Romney—too wooden, too rich, too secretive about his faith, too white—has reinforced existing stereotypes about members of the faith.
But they are not the first Mormon candidates for president, because the father of the movement himself presented himself as a candidate. Joseph Smith who claimed to have been visited by an angel of God who led him to the discovery of sacred gold-plated texts that became The “Book of Mormon,” ran an unorthodox campaign for president back in 1844, promoting a platform that went roughly this way: Make America a one-party state. Reduce Congress in size by two-thirds, allowing two senators per state, but just one House member per million people. Reduce Congressional salaries to two dollars plus room and board. (After all, he wrote, “that is more than the farmer gets and he lives honestly.”) Turn the jails into “seminaries of learning.” Re-establish the national bank. Make prisoners work on building roads or on any project “where the culprit can be taught more wisdom and more virtue; and become more enlightened…”
The reason why the golden plates or copies of the text on them are not available for examination is explained by saying that the angel had forbidden Joseph Smith to show them to anyone except those designated by the angel. After the translating work was done the angel is said to have taken them away. On those plates would have been the revelation of God. And Joseph Smith acted according to these words of God and as the angel directed him.
Jesus also would have appeared in the United States of America. As such he would also probably have spoken to many people over there, and they could have followed him.

Joseph Smith wrote the Book of Mormon like an Authorised Bible version and got interested people around him. But his strange ideas brought controversions and agitations.
Long before he decided to run for president, the Mormon prophet had established a political life. Violently expelled from Missouri where the governor had issued an executive order authorizing the “extermination” or forced removal of the Mormon community, Smith and his followers settled in the rural town of Commerce, Illinois, and renamed it Nauvoo (Hebrew for “beautiful spot”). There, despite professed admiration for the Constitution as having been “divinely inspired,” he established himself as something of a supreme ruler. Indeed, Nauvoo was more like an independent theocracy than a republic, with Smith himself serving as mayor, chief judge, and major general of a private town militia.
Smith’s inspiration for seeking the presidency was the experience in Missouri. He had resented his community’s treatment there and petitioned President Martin Van Buren to intercede on the Mormons’ behalf. Van Buren declined. But the Mormon leader did have strong opinions on national issues as well and he published them under the title, “General Smith’s Views of the Powers and Policy of the Government of the United States.”
Smith had hoped to keep the polygamy in his church secret.
It was an 1878 Supreme Court decision that ultimately forced the church to abandon the practice of polygamy. In Reynolds v. United States, the justices unanimously asserted a distinction between belief and practice, between opinion and conduct, when it ruled that the Morrill Anti-Bigamy Act, which prohibited the practice of “plural marriage” in any U.S. territory (Abraham Lincoln signed the act into law in 1862), withstood the standards of the First Amendment, even though the plaintiff, George Reynolds, had argued that it was his religious “duty” as a Mormon to marry more than one woman. Following that, the Mormon Church leadership declared in 1890 that its followers should “refrain from contracting any marriages forbidden by the law of the land.”
By the mid-twentieth century, the Mormon faith had settled into a more traditional profile. Still, the church’s fantastic origins and racist history have dogged any Mormon looking to occupy national office, and if Gov. Romney’s popularity grows making him a the Republican answer against Barack Obama, we can expect that his Mormon roots will continue to be debated.
During a town meeting, supporter Betty Treen took the microphone to ask the former Massachusetts Governor point blank about his faith.
“I am for you, but I need to ask you a personal question: Do you believe in the divine saving grace of Jesus Christ?” A murmur could be heard in the crowd in the few seconds it took Romney to get the microphone back.
“Yes, I do,” Romney began, as the crowd erupted into applause led by home state governor Nikki Haley, who was on stage with the candidate she has endorsed.
“I would note there are people in our nation that have different beliefs; there are people of the Jewish faith, and people of the Islamic faith, and other faiths who believe other things, and our President will be President of the people of all faiths,” Romney said, again interrupted by applause.
A president for all faiths is not a bad thing. But Christians should be aware of certain beliefs in the Mormon faith, which could give enough signs to the believer how to react rightly. Now that the Mormons are receiving again some attention so they shall be eager enough to come back on the streets more openly again to proclaim what they say is the word of God.
But can the book of Mormon be a book given by God to His people? Is it for us an important book to be read?

The number one truth, listed in the LDS’ A Marvelous Work and a Wonder, revealed “through the instrumentality of the Prophet Joseph Smith” is “The true personality of God.” – p. 407, 1979 ed.
Or, as Joseph Smith himself wrote in his Lectures on Faith, p. 36,
“three things are necessary, in order that any rational and intelligent being may exercise faith in God unto life and salvation. First, the idea that he actually exists. Secondly, a CORRECT [Smith’s emphasis] idea of his character, perfection and attributes.”
Joseph Smith, his followers, and the Mormons who come along the houses give the impression that it is important that we know who the God is whom we must worship in truth (John 4:24) and what he expects of us. We are even given the warning that otherwise we may not receive eternal life! (See 2 Thessalonians 1:8, 9 – KJV and Joseph Smith’s Inspired Version.) Ignorance will not be an excuse in the last day. How could anyone refuse to expend every effort in discovering all that can be known about the True God? (Proverbs 2:4, 5.)
When questions of historicity come up in Mormonism, the conversation often changes direction, from focusing on the historicity of the textual accounts to focusing on the historicity of the provenance of the text.
A very striking thing about The Book of Mormon is the frequent quotes or near quotes it makes from the Authorized or King James Version of the Bible, which was popular during the days of Joseph Smith.
The Book of Mormon has men who are supposed to have lived several hundred years before Christ using expressions that are found in the Greek Scriptures of the Bible, which Scriptures were written after the time of Christ. Paul’s expression at Hebrews 13:8 is used at least five times. He said: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” (AV) Its first appearance in The Book of Mormon is at 1 Nephi 10:18, which was supposedly written more than 600 years before the days of the apostle Paul. It says: “For he is the same yesterday, to-day, and forever.”
The Book of Mormon has Jesus Christ not only appearing in the flesh to the people of North America after his resurrection and ascension. About 124 years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem, The Book of Mormon has people crying out: “O have mercy, and apply the atoning blood of Christ that we may receive forgiveness of our sins, and our hearts may be purified; for we believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who created heaven and earth, and all things; who shall come down among the children of men.” (Mosiah 4:2) How can a people cry for forgiveness of sins by the atoning blood of Christ long before that blood was shed and at a time when God’s people were required to rely upon the animal sacrifices of the Law for atonement of sins?
A number of books in The Book of Mormon are dated before the coming of Christ, but they repeatedly talk about Jesus Christ, his sin-atoning sacrifice, his resurrection, his baptism in water, the baptism by the holy spirit, the salvation of man through Christ and the need of exercising faith in him in order to be saved. These things are mentioned with the great frequency that marks literary works produced after Jesus was killed and resurrected. Such statements about him become anachronisms in the time setting given them by The Book of Mormon. Being out of time-order, they conflict with the Bible, which places similar statements after Christ, not before his coming.
The Book of Mormon boldly asserts that God and Christ are one God. Alma 11:38, 39 says: “Now Zeezrom saith again unto him: Is the Son of God the very Eternal Father? And Amulek said unto him: Yea, he is the very Eternal Father of heaven and of earth.” Mormon 7:7 speaks about singing praises “unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end.” The Book of Mormon has Jesus Christ flatly saying, at 3 Nephi 11:14, “I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world.”
But are you able to find such trinitarian sayings somewhere in the canon of the Bible? You may take any Roman Catholic Bible and even there you would not find any reference to a tri-une God in the Bible text itself?
Jesus Christ never claimed to be the “God of the whole earth” or the “God of Israel” or to be the “Creator of all things”. He always was very clear when he did miracles, that it was not he who did it whit his power, but His Father who authorised to do these actions in His name. Jesus was also clear in letting to know the people that they did not have to honour him, but that they should only give honour to the Only One God, his Father who is in heaven.
On this point The Book of Mormon contradicts the Bible. Instead of saying that the Father and the Son are one God, the Bible reveals the son as the person given by the force of God, placed in the womb of a young virgin. This man was to be the one who still had to come in the time of Moses and Jacob. It was a man who was going to die while God can not die. Though for Joseph Smith God is also a man, while the Bible clearly tells us God is a spirit.
“God is a glorified and perfected man, a personage of flesh and bones. Inside his tangible body is an eternal Spirit (see D&C 130:22).” – p. 6, Gospel Principles, published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1979 ed.
“The exact nature of the Holy Ghost – how He can be a personage of spirit dwelling in a spirit body – is not fully comprehended by mortal men. But we can understand that the Father and the Son are glorified men in whose image Adam was made. We can understand that they are separate individuals, physically distinct from each other, and, by considering certain statements found in the Bible, we can understand that both God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ have glorified resurrected bodies of flesh and bones. We read in Holy Writ: ‘And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.’ (John 17:3).” – p. 92, Why I Believe, G. E. “god [is] a spirit, and they who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24 MKJV)
Joseph Smith also used the name “Jehovah” more frequently than most members of “traditional” Christendom today. He also puts a lot of importance on the name of a person. It would appear, then, that he recognized the importance of that personal name of the Creator of the universe as welll. And, although he often publicly acknowledged the personal name “Jehovah” (e.g. D&C 109:34, 42, 56, 68), he did not present “Elohim” as being a name, but being a title. (What it is.) He properly translated that Hebrew word or title (but not personal name) as “God” or “god”!
IF, as present day Prophets of the LDS Church teach, “elohim” really is the personal name of God, the Father, then Joseph Smith’s virtually ignoring it would have been a terrible error!
Jesus did find an end to his life on the wooden stake. Jesus had also been clear that when he would return to the earth it would be at a moment he did not know yet, because only his Father knew. And that return would mean the End of Times.
So when Jesus would also have been in the United States, that would have meant the beginning of the End Times, though we are still in that time of tribulation.
Jesus is according the Bible also less than his Father and subject to the Father, who is the Only One God, even after his ascension to heaven. This is shown at 1 Corinthians 15:28, “But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.”
Jewish liturgy was fulfilled in Jesus. The apostles wrote their accounts to show Jesus as the fulfilment of the Jewish faith, so that stories of Jesus would parallel the Old Testament accounts already used in the synagogues.
Rather than claiming to be God in the flesh, Jesus Christ pointed out his dependence upon the Father and his inferiority to him by saying: “I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgement that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.” (John 5:30).
There have been thousands of changes over the years in all of the LDS “Scriptures.” The Book of Mormon (BOM), for example, has suffered about 4000 changes since it was first published in 1830. Some of these changes that we will examine were major changes. The vast majority, however, were spelling/grammar/punctuation corrections.
Even these “minor” errors are significant. One of the special “Three Witnesses” for the BOM, Martin Harris, testified that the words which appeared on the “seer stone,” which Joseph Smith claimed to use to translate the golden plates into the BOM, wouldn’t even “erase” from that stone until they had been correctly written down on paper! {2}
It can be tempting to take the Book of Mormon just as an other Bible translation (as it is sometimes presented). People can find a lot of lengthy quotations from the Authorized Version in it. But several of the words, according to Smith would have been said in North America. For example, 3 Nephi 12:3-18, 21-28 and 31-45 are practically identical, verse for verse, with Matthew 5:3-18, 21-28 and 31-45 in the Authorized Version. This will also be found true when comparing 3 Nephi 13 with Matthew 6 as well as 3 Nephi 14 with Matthew 7. The type of similarities that comparison of these passages reveals would not have existed if Jesus had truly repeated these things to another people and they were written by different writers in a different language.
Many of Jesus’ statements recorded in the Bible can be found liberally sprinkled throughout The Book of Mormon, from those parts dated nearly 600 years before his birth to those dated over 400 years after his birth. What Jesus said about his sheep at John 10:9, 14, 16 is found, in part, at 1 Nephi 22:25, dated 588 years before Christ. Alma 31:37 uses Jesus’ words at Luke 12:22, although this book is dated 74 years before his birth. Jesus’ well-known expression at Matthew 16:19, where he tells Peter: “Whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven,” is found at Helaman 10:7, which says: “Behold, I give unto you power, that whatsoever ye shall seal on earth shall be sealed in heaven; and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” This is dated twenty-three years before the birth of Jesus. It should be of interest to mention here that what Peter said about Jesus at Acts 3:22-25 appears, with the exception of a few alterations, at 3 Nephi 20:23-25, as words that Jesus was supposed to have said A.D. 34 to people in North America, but its close resemblance to the Authorized Version of the Bible identifies its source.
Joseph Smith’s teachings indicate the so-called “lost” 10 tribes (which include the tribe of Ephraim) are still off in some unknown, isolated location in the far north (see Doctrine and Covenants Commentary, pp. 843, 844) – Therefore, modern Europeans and Americans are not their descendants.
The Church also establishes a connection for the Deaf between Nephites and Lamanites and American Indians. If limited geography theories of the Book of Mormon are correct, this connection may be unfortunate, particularly as it comes from a more official source than the hand motions that go along with “Book of Mormon Stories.”

Why I Believe, by Mormon writer George Edward Clark, pp. 122-123 states:“Now, if Joseph Smith were a false prophet, an impostor, and wrote the Book of Mormon himself, quoting verbatim whole chapters from the Bible, he would have been inconsistent with his teachings, for in his eighth Article of Faith he said, ‘We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly.’ Therefore, since he implied that our present King James version of the Bible is not all translated correctly, it is evident he would not copy what he professed was a mistranslation and embody that copy in a book which he purported to be a true record. The novel End of Grace seems to instill or confirm suspicions that the Mormon Church is controlled by power hungry men who regularly resort to violent actions to advance church position. Readers could easily have their opinions of the Mormon Church and its people lowered. This in turn may well affect how they view and cast votes for Mormon political candidates.
Hersenspoeling en voortdurende intimidatie
Op 10 mei 2012 stelden de SGP-jongeren en het Wetenschappelijk Instituut voor de SGP in hun gezamenlijke publicatie ‘Toekomst voor Israël. Zicht op het conflict tussen Palestijnen en Joden’ dat ereen oplossing voor het Palestijns-Israëlisch conflict alleen dichterbij komt wanneer de Palestijnse leiders eerst bewijzen dat ze serieus vrede met Israël willen. Nu spreken ze vaak met dubbele tong. Richting de internationale media in de Engelse taal over vrede. Maar richting de eigen bevolking in het Arabisch over opstand en verzet. Vredesbesprekingen hebben dan geen enkele zin.
Al jaren sleept het explosief conflict in het Midden-Oosten aan. Dat conflict, met name tussen Israël en de Arabische staten, wordt een belangrijke factor van divergentie tussen de Europese en Amerikaanse publieke opinie. Langs beide zijden wordt het conflict bezien door middel van ‘partijdige’ ogen. De vraag is hoe lang wil de gemeenschap de eenzijdige bril ophouden.
Maar voor buitenstaanders is het ongelofelijk moeilijk om echt bepaalde waarheden te achterhalen doordat beide partijen de waarheid geweld aan doen. Niemand van de ‘lawaaimakers’ blijkt zuiver te zijn. In beide kampen kan men verkeerde dingen vinden. Zaken die tegen de borst stoten en mens onwaardig zijn.
Langs weerszijden trachten ze de pers naar hun kant te trekken, dat tot gevolg heeft dat men in de media-aandacht en politieke commentaar / analyse / acties meer en meer eenzijdige standpunten krijgt geformuleerd.
Geen enkele andere regio in de wereld of politieke kwestie heeft tot dergelijke politieke angst en onrust geleid als de problemen van Israël en de Palestijnen. Er zijn al zoveel oplossingen voor de problemen van de Israëlische regering en het Palestijnse volk voorgesteld geworden en er zijn er nog massa’s die zouden kunnen opgevolgd worden. In feite komt het er op aan om goede wil te tonen en om het lef te hebben om met een spons over het verleden te vegen. Maar buiten de politieke moed komt er ook het godsdienstig gegeven daar hoop op vrede worden tegengewerkt door conservatieve en religieuze radicalen aan beide zijden. Eveneens is er het wereldgebeuren plaatje met de verdeling van de machten, maar ook met de angst om posities op wereldvlak te verliezen, waarbij de invloed van buitenaf uit landen zoals de Verenigde Staten, Iran en Syrië een belangrijke rol spelen.
De oprichting van een Joodse staat was een noodzaak geworden in de twintigste eeuw omdat ook verscheidene staten daarin een oplossing zagen tegen het al een lange tijd wijd verspreide anti-semitisme in Europa. Vroeg anti-semitisme was geworteld in religieuze verschillen, maar het tijdperk van de Verlichting zorgde voor een nieuw radicaal en seculier antisemitisme in Europa. In 1917, onder de Balfour-verklaring, verklaarde de Britten hun grondgebied in Palestina een thuisland voor de Joden, Palestina, zijnde het voorouderlijk thuisland van de Joden.
Hierbij hadden de Britten echter over het hoofd gezien dat door de constante verschuiving van volkeren in die regio er al een tijdje een ander religieus volk in de regio woonde. Het probleem met de Britten die Palestina als een Joods thuisland verklaarden was dat Palestina voornamelijk werd bewoond door islamitische Palestijnen en zo goed als een aanzienlijke christelijke minderheid.
Ook al beloofde het plan om de rechten van degenen die al leefden in het Palestina niet te ondermijnen, groeiden meer en meer spanningen tussen de betrokken partijen. Grotendeels kwamen de moeilijkheden bij de massa’s immigranten. Russissche, Amerikaanse en andere Joden die allemaal trokken naar het Beloofde Land. Met de jaren groeide de spanningen tussen de nieuwe joodse immigranten en de Palestijnen. Naarmate meer en meer Joodse immigranten in Palestina kwamen, werden de spanningen nog erger. In een poging om de naburige Arabische gevoelens te sussen, deelden de Britten het oostelijk deel van Palestina in een apart gebied op dat bekendstaat als Trans-Jordanië, dat later het Koninkrijk Jordanië werd. Een Arabisch Palestijnse staat kwam nooit tot stand en werd voor jaren het woelwater.
Telken male er vredesonderhandelingen werden ondernomen vielen er meer slachtoffers.
Van kleins af groeiden kinderen onder de kibbelende volwassenen op om zo meer een meer een vertekend beeld te krijgen van de andere partij.
De Palestijnse omroep [PA TV (Fatah)] zendt regelmatig kinderprogramma’s uit die de kinderen moet helpen zich voor te bereiden op de eeuwige oorlog tegen de Joden en de Jodenstaat.
In de uitzending van 30 maart 2012 wordt hen in het vak Kunst & Handenarbeid door een jong Palestijns meisje voorgedaan hoe ze in een handomdraai een mooie kleurige kaart van Palestina kunnen maken. Met een schaar en papier wordt Palestina op ‘historische basis’ uitgeknipt.
Geborduurde kaart van Palestina
Dat daar Israël helemaal niet meer op voorkomt is geen toeval. Het toekomstige Palestina ‘vervangt’ de Joodse staat compleet. Geen spoor meer te merken van Joden of hun staat. En ja, die tweestatenoplossing waar zoveel om te doen is? Dat is een 1 april grap van de Palestijnen om de westerlingen wat te entertainen en waar ze nog alle dagen smakelijk om moeten om lachen. Geen van de Palestijnen wil dat.
Op 7 april 2012 werd door de televisiezender van de PA, die onder de controle staat van president Mahmoud Abbas van de Al Fatah beweging het kinderprogramma, getiteld ‘Het Beste Huis’ uitgezonden.
In the video clip, is te zien hoe de gastvrouw aan een Arabisch meisje vraagt: “Laila, wat wil je vandaag voor ons brengen?” waarop het meisje antwoordt met het voordragen van het volgende gedicht geschreven door een Egyptische schrijver:
“Toen ik jong was werd mij geleerd dat Arabisch-zijn mijn eer is…
en dat ons land zich uitstrekt van het ene einde tot het andere,
en dat onze oorlogen voor de Al Aksa Moskee waren,
en dat onze vijand, Zion, Satan is met een staart…
Onze verdeeldheid ligt in jullie handen [Arabische leiders].
Moge uw handen worden afgehakt.
Wij zijn onze verdeeldheid beu, terwijl alle volkeren zich verenigen.”
Waarop de gastvrouw het uitkrijst van vreugde: “Bravo, bravo, bravo”.
Verscheidene kinderen groeien op met de leuze “onze vijand, Zion, Satan is met een staart”. Als je ze jaren indrukt “zij zijn onze verdrukkers”, “kijk daar het kwaad van de wereld”, dan kan het niet anders dat de kinderen dat wel op de duur gaan geloven. Zeker als zij tegen zulk een muur moeten aankijken en constant geconfronteerd worden met mensonterende controleposten. Nooit zien zij een normale bewegingsvrijheid.
Voor de Palestijnse Autoriteit zijn die kinderen natuurlijk een gemakkelijke prooi om hen te voeten emt haat naar “de verdrukker”. Voortdurend brengen zij campagnes om Israël te delegitimiseren en demoniseren.
Er bestaan zelfs kinderkampen die de naam hebben gekregen van drie serieuze terroristen: Dalal Mughrabi, Salah Khalaf en Abu Ali Mustafa, en liejes met als tekst „Wij [PLO team] trokken vanuit Libanon op patrouille; zonder vrees voor [de] dood noch voor de duisternis van de cel. Op de kust vloeide het bloed van [Dalal] Mughrabi, de kleur van [rood] koraal op [witte] citroenbloemen.“ zijn schering en inslag.
De Palestijnse Autoriteit onderneemt nauwelijks iets om in de media de stem van haat tegen Israël tot zwijgen te brengen.
Israëlisch -Palestijns conflict
Volgens Prof. Dr. Hans Jansen: “Israël wordt niet alleen bedreigd door de Palestijnse Autoriteit (PA), maar door de hele islamitische wereld, die dagelijks wordt overspoeld door een endemische, giftige haat. Omdat in veel moslimlanden aanhangers van Mohammed in de media worden opgehitst Joden vijandig gezind te zijn, zal de giftige uitwerking hiervan van de ene op de andere generatie worden overgedragen. De gevaren die een dergelijke campagne van vijandschap en haat oproepen, scheppen een cultuur van de dood, waarvan vooral Arabische jongeren het slachtoffer zijn geworden. De tol die betaald moest worden, is schrikbarend hoog: sinds het einde van de 2de Wereldoorlog zijn twaalf miljoen moslims het slachtoffer geworden van oorlogen en andere vormen van geweld.”
Als er een wijdverspreide haat-campagne wordt gegeven in onderwijs, in lesprogramma’s op school, in preken van imams in moskeeën, in toespraken van politici, in televisie- en radioprogramma’s, in trainingen op zomerkampen, en last but not least in de elektronische media, hoe wil men dan een verzoening kunnen krijgen tussen deze volken?
Om de verhouding tussen de prediking van de catechese van haat door de Palestijnen en de gevolgen hiervan in hedendaagse taal te formuleren, deden Prof. Elihu Richter en prof. Israel Charney van de Hebreeuwse universiteit te Jeruzalem, al in 2009, toen de hoop voor een oplossing wegvaagde, in een brief aan de Israëlische regering een indringende oproep om de zogenaamde Declaration of Principles van de Oslo-akkoorden, die in 1993 tussen de PLO en de Israëlische regering waren gesloten, eindelijk eens serieus te nemen. In deze verklaring had de PLO ermee ingestemd dat het beëindigen van de haatcampagne tegen Israël een eerste vereiste, een conditio sine qua non is, om het vredesproces te doen slagen. Volgens genoemde hoogleraren hadden achtereenvolgende regeringen in Israël veel te weinig haar protest laten horen tegen het onmiskenbare feit dat de Palestijnse Autoriteit nauwelijks iets ondernam om in de media de stem van haat tegen Israël tot zwijgen te brengen. Richter en Charney laten sindsdien onophoudelijk horen dat dit protest eindelijk eens een integraal aspect dient te worden van de politiek van de Israëlische regering.
“Als verrijkt uranium en raketten de hardware zijn, dan is opruiende taal en aansporing tot vijandschap en haat tegen Israël de software. Je hebt de software nodig om de hardware aan te sturen”. stelden de wetenschappers.
Volgens hen moeten Israël en al diegenen in de wereld, die betrokken zijn bij de oplossing van het Israëlisch-Palestijnse conflict, nu onmiddellijk iets doen, wat zij nooit eerder hebben gedaan en wat zij wel, gezien de Declaration of Principles van de Oslo-akkoorden, hadden moeten doen. Zij moeten allereerst de wijdverspreide taal van haat en aansporing tot genocide en genocidale terreur definiëren, opsporen, controleren en registreren. Zij moeten het materiaal specificeren en van de Palestijnse Autoriteit tastbare resultaten eisen met betrekking tot het beëindigen van de haatcampagne tegen de Joodse staat. Omdat de PA die campagne blijft sponsoren, hebben we te maken met een zeer ernstige vorm van “staats”-antisemitisme!
De terreurgroep Palestijnse Islamitische Jihad lanceerde op 22 april 2012 een videoclip ter promotie van de Jihadische strijd om de vernietiging van de Joodse staat Israël. In het filmpje worden trainingen getoond van de Jodendoders van de terroristische Al-Quds Brigades (Saraya) in Gaza, de beruchte gewapende vleugel van de Islamitische Jihad. Uiteraard alles in het teken van de Islam, getuige de beelden van Mekka en de Rotskoepel op de Tempelberg, en het voortdurend tonen van de Koran, het handboek voor Jodenmoord van de ware Al Quds Brigadist. Verder op worden ook (getrukeerde) beelden getoond van Israëlische steden die in brand staan.
Islamitische Jihad bezweert: De steden in Israël zullen branden…
Op 23 april heeft de Israëlische afgevaardigde aan de Verenigde Naties, Ron Prosor, de Veiligheidsraad opgeroepen om de mythe van de waarheid te scheiden in de discussie omtrent het Midden-Oosten.
Prosor begon met de eis dat te weerleggen dat het Israëlisch-Palestijnse conflict het centrale conflict in het Midden-Oosten is, verwijzend naar de onlusten in Syrië, Jemen, Egypte, Bahrein en andere landen in het Midden-Oosten die geen verband houden met Israël.
“De obsessie voor Israël heeft de tanks van Bashar Al Assad niet kunnen beletten om hele gemeenschappen weg te vagen. Integendeel, het heeft enkel de aandacht van zijn misdaden afgeleid,” zei hij.
Betreffende Iran zei hij, “het grootste deel van de debatten wijden aan het Israëlisch-Palestijnse conflict, maand na maand, heeft de centrifuges van het Iraanse regime niet tegengehouden om verder te draaien. De ambities van Iran om atoomwapens te verwerven, zijn de enige en grootste bedreiging voor het Midden-Oosten en de volledige wereld.”
Voor sommigen lijkt het moeilijk om kritiek te leveren op de Joodse staat en te erkennen wat zij met de bevolking doen door een opwerping van een muur zoal zij ook achter muren werden afgezonderd. Hoe kunnen zij zich er wel bij voelen?
Indien zij het volle vertrouwen in hun God zouden leggen zouden zij niets te vrezen moeten hebben voor het verkrijgen van zeggenschap in Jeruzalem, want dat zal hen sowieso toe komen.
Ondertussen blijven beide partijen elkaar beschieten en van elkaar te zeggen dat de ander eerst begon. Juist kleine kinders, maar bengels die niet groter of volwassener lijken te worden.
Om werk te maken van een leefbaar gebied moet er bij de jongeren begonnen worden. Hen moet respect voor elkaar bij gebracht worden. van jongsaf aan moet men de mensen laten inzien dat enkel één democratische staat met gelijke rechten voor alle burgers de enige aanvaardbare en enige praktische oplossing is voor het Israëlisch-Palestijnse conflict, ook al zou het een confederale staat zijn. Maar om economisch en sociaal leefbaar te zijn moet er een democratische staat gevormd worden waarin elke Palestijnse vluchteling kan terugkeren naar zijn vroegere woning. Ook de joden moeten de mogelijkheid krijgen om overal te wonen in Eretz Yisrael (het Land van Israël). Best kan er voor gezorgd worden dat iedereen gemengd onder elkaar woont zodat er geen getto’s ontstaan. Palestijnen mogen niet langer worden gedwongen om te leven achter de muren en worden lastig gevallen bij checkpoints. Ook moet er op toegezien worden dat de afsluitingen van drinkbaar water of onmogelijkheid om tot waterbronnen te komen ongedaan wordt gemaakt. Ontbossing, het ontwortelen van olijfbomen of het slopen van woningen moet tegen gegaan worden.
Israëlische Joden zullen niet meer mogen worden verstoten door de wereld van aanhoudende schendingen van de mensenrechten; en de politieke leiders zullen niet langer de focus naar het conflict mogen verschuiven. Joodse en Arabische scholieren horen hetzelfde niveau van het onderwijs te krijgen en worden best voorzien van scholen die ook door de overheid worden gecontroleerd maar zuiver worden gehouden van indoctrinale slogans en eenzijdige berichtgeving.
Enkel als de staat met steun van de buitenwereld, de internationale gemeenschap, er zich op kan toeleggen om de geschillen tussen Israëliërs en Palestijnen weg te werken en zich te verzoenen met de Arabieren en met anders denkenden zal de economie weer gaan kunnen profiteren van een grotere groep werknemers en vernieuwers.
Een enkele democratische en seculiere staat is de enige aanvaardbare en praktische oplossing voor het Israëlisch-Palestijnse conflict en de enige weg vooruit. Door politiek het grondgebied te verenigenen en het synoniem maken van “nationaliteit” en “burgerschap” , zal Israël en Palestina in staat zijn om echt in de wereld te schitteren als een baken van vrijheid en kameraadschap.

The first time that shrines from the time of early biblical kings were uncovered.
Prof. Yosef Garfinkel, the Yigal Yadin Professor of Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, announced May 8 the discovery of objects that for the first time shed light on how a cult was organized in Judah at the time of King David.
Pre-dating the construction of Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem by 30 to 40 years three large rooms that served as cultic shrines, inclusive rich assemblages of pottery, stone and metal tools, and many art and cult objects corresponding to the biblical description provides the first physical evidence of a cult at the time of King David.

According to Prof. Garfinkel, “This is the first time that archaeologists uncovered a fortified city in Judah from the time of King David. Even in Jerusalem we do not have a clear fortified city from his period. Thus, various suggestions that completely deny the biblical tradition regarding King David and argue that he was a mythological figure, or just a leader of a small tribe, are now shown to be wrong.” Garfinkel continued, “Over the years, thousands of animal bones were found, including sheep, goats and cattle, but no pigs. Now we uncovered three cultic rooms, with various cultic paraphernalia, but not even one human or animal figurine was found. This suggests that the population of Khirbet Qeiyafa observed two biblical bans — on pork and on graven images — and thus practiced a different cult than that of the Canaanites or the Philistines.”
Now, with the help of the stone model uncovered at Khirbet Qeiyafa, the biblical text found in the description of Solomon’s temple (1 Kings 6, Verses 5, 31-33, and in the description of a temple by the prophet Ezekiel (41:6), is clarified. For the first time in history we have actual objects from the time of David, which can be related to monuments described in the Bible.

The clay shrine has an intricate facade, featuring two guardian lions, pillars and birds standing on the roof. The stone shrine was painted red, and its facade is decorated with characteristic triglyph symbols as well as a triple-recessed doorway in front. Garfinkel said the Bible may have referred to those architectural features in its description of Solomon’s palace. The fortified nature of the settlement at Qeiyafa is important because members of the “minimalist” school in biblical archaeology, who claim there was no organized kingdom in Judea at the time David was supposed to have existed, have based that conclusion in part on an absence of fortified cities at the time. Building such cities requires centralized administration.Qeiyafa would seem to show that such cities in fact existed, meaning that there could well have been a centralized kingdom like the one described in the Bible.
Other scholars have urged caution in reaching conclusions based on the findings from Qeiyafa.
